Hi! My name is Nikki and I am a qualified Early Childhood Educator. I am currently working in childcare part time and I like to keep myself available for some private nannying as I enjoy the flexibility and variety of the two environments. I have always loved children and taking care of them. I have a natural maternal nature and kindness and honesty are most important to me. My mum has a photo of me when I was 7yrs old with my 1yr old sister on my hip while everyone else was playing. Probably explains my sore back! I like to enjoy my time with the children I look after, so I’m always looking for fun and creative ways for them to learn and continue to grow into their own unique selves. I am triple vaccinated, have a WWC and police check available. Please feel free to get in touch!

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hey! I'm Zachary. I am a seventeen-year-old Year 12 student living in Port Melbourne. All throughout my life, I have looked after my younger cousins and family friends' children, and have always enjoyed it, hence my decision to start working in babysitting. I love kids' curiosity, creativity and imagination and also really like helping kids with schoolwork. I am currently looking for casual, or part-time babysitting jobs, as I would like to have more agency and flexibility around my timetable with Year 12 being a fairly busy year; as well as the simple fact that I think it would be a really wholesome job. To give you some background on me: I am an active volunteer in the local community at places such as Port Philip Community Group, in which I have been volunteering since 2020. I also work as an Officer in my school's leadership team. I look forward to hearing from you soon!

Looking for: Part-time

Hi, I moved to Melbourne in December 2019 after working and living in a remote Aboriginal Community in Western Australia for 3 years. I was lucky enough to start running a childcare program at Purnululu School while studying for my diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care. While living in Purnululu ( Frog Hollow community, Wurreranginy) I worked closely with families, community members and elders as it was a family and community driven school. I enjoy and have experience working in a number of Childcare and Primary School environments and have worked with children of all ages from 5 months +. In my Childcare Worker role, I honed my abilities in lesson planning and behaviour management and was able to incorporate my interests in music, art and nature into a program that was positive for the children. My communication, people-centric nature, and compassion have afforded me excellent collaboration skills. I have further experience working as a Nanny for the principal of the school and her 4yr old daughter both afternoon and week long stays. I also travelled overseas as a carer with this family for 4 weeks to Spain and Finland. While living in Melbourne I have nannied for two different families around CBD area, developing a great connection that has lasted for 3 years. I love working with kids, am flexible and have patience and time for both children and families and willing to help wherever I can. Looking forward to hearing from you soon, Melody.

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hello Mums and Dads, I know how crazy life can get with work, your little ones running around, and in these ‘new times’ with Covid, trying to manage everything can be really stressful. But worry no more because I think I can help!! My name is Olivia. I’m a compassionate, fun and patient 29-year-old Nanny and professional ‘Mums Helper’, who lives in inner Melbourne. I have been working closely with children and their families for over 8 years and I absolutely love my work. Over the years I have worked with a broad range of families and children (aged 2-15) including extensive experience with children who have various special needs, particularly Autism and also children with behavioural difficulties. There’s nothing more rewarding than putting in the work and having the patience and compassion when a child is struggling and then seeing them transform and blossom into the best versions of themselves. I have been working for a beautiful family with two boys (ages 10 and 7- the 10 year old has autism), at the end of this year it will be five years but sadly they will be moving to South Korea for the fathers work with the Defence Force so I am in need of work for in the New year. Growing up with many nannies (some great and some not so) I knew exactly the sort of Nanny and child caretaker I wanted to be. Someone who can be ‘silly’ (when the times right) and can have a laugh, who enjoys getting my hands dirty whether it’s arts and crafts, playing around in the backyard or building sand castles on the beach. I love reading stories and going on excursions whether it’s the Zoo, museum or just the local beaches and parks. I am also very experienced at helping children with their homework. 2020/2021 has also brought me new experiences as I had the chance to home school two boys. I am a strong believer that all caretakers should put away the ‘screens’ and be interactive and involved in the child/children’s lives as we play an important role and can have a huge positive impact across many aspects of a child’s life (creatively, play, learning, confidence building etc). I also understand it’s not all about the fun and games. Parents need help too. If you need help finding routine again, de-cluttering of toys, cleaning-up after the kids, washing and ironing for the whole family, organisation of home and just finding some calm amongst what can feel like ‘chaos’- I can help. I also love to cook and bake and can help with meal preparations, school lunch box prep and creating the occasional treat (or more) for the family to enjoy. If you need help with birthday parties; including birthday cakes and party food- I’d love to help. I can help with grocery shopping and any errands that are needed. If you’re only wanting a date night and just need a babysitter for the night I’m also available for any adhoc babysitting at short notice. I have my own car (2016 Hyundai i30) with 1 child seat and a full license. I have my first aid, double Covid Vaccination and Working with Childrens Check certificates.

Looking for: Part-time

Hi! I am an energetic and enthusiastic education student. I am in my final year of study and have had a lot of experience with young children in both the classroom setting/ and outside of the classroom setting. I was working for a family through a nanny agency however I wanted to deal with the families on a one-on-one basis instead of through an employer. I am incredibly reliable and organised. I have great multitasking skills and have been living independently for a few months. In my previous job, I was required to take care of 3 girls - 5, 4 and 1 years old. My job entitled me to get 3 children ready in the morning (5 and 4 year old would go to school) and take care of the 1-year-old all day. I would complete tasks such as doing the girls' lunches, driving them to school, laundry, grocery shopping, picking up dry cleaning etc. I have a strong passion for children - hence the career choice, and I value respect for others and effective communication. I am about to start the University holidays next week and will be available Monday, Thursday and Friday. If you feel like I'm the right fit for your family please reach out to me :)
