I have 16 years as a Family Day Care Provider and 7 years as a Nanny. I love getting down to the children's level and participating with the children. No activity is too messy or too difficult. I also love taking children on excursions to the local playgrounds and the library for story time and book borrowing. I am very enthusiastic about children meeting other children and happy to attend playgroups in the area. I believe in outside play and not a fan of television and computers, but they do have a place in learning. I like to have a routine in place with children, so we know in advance what we are doing. Then that might go out the window if a different activity arises for the day or the weather chances. Let's see what happens. I enjoy cooking and encourage children to participate.
