Hi I'm Sarah I completed my Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care in April 2024 but was working as a trainee in my previous job. I love and have cared for all ages but the age I'm most comfortable with is new-born/infant as I was employed as a nursery educator.. I have a passion for teaching children, which is why I specialize in helping children reach their developmental milestones. Hi there! I’m a 25-year-old High School English and Humanities teacher with two years of classroom experience, but I’ve always found that I connect best with kids when I take a more creative, non-traditional approach. I’m energetic and love getting to know what a child is actually interested in so that our time together is genuinely engaging rather than just watching the clock. While I work with teenagers during the day, I’m very comfortable with all ages, from toddlers through to primary schoolers. My background also includes several months at Ballarat Specialist School, which has made me very patient and inclusive when supporting children with diverse needs or specific sensory requirements. Outside of teaching, I’m an artist and a musician, so I love bringing that creative energy into babysitting, whether we're starting an art project or playing music together. Of course, as an English teacher, I’m also more than happy to help out with any homework or literacy support if needed!

Hi there, I have just finished studying my certificate 3 and hope to possibly continue on with my diploma or bachelor part time this year. I have loved the study and the placements and adored the babies I was working with. I have just completed my 3 - 5 year old placement and had a bunch of fun with the kinder group. I also have been working in OHSC for the last year which I really enjoyed. This work was with 5+ years (primary). As much as I loved working in a group setting I find it much more fulfilling providing support and guidance one on one (or few basis) and concentrating on developmental goals and milestones. I love watching children learn and grow and feel I have the skills to challenge and support their needs as they progress.
