Hi, I’m Artemis, a responsible and enthusiastic university student currently studying Law and Commerce at Monash University. While I don’t have formal babysitting experience, I bring a strong sense of responsibility, patience, and care, developed through my leadership roles in high school and my work in hospitality.
I’ve previously cared for and played with my younger cousin when he was between 2 and 4 years old, which gave me a taste of supporting and engaging with young children in a fun and nurturing way.
As a former House Captain and Class Representative, I’ve worked closely with students of all ages and know how to communicate positively and respectfully. I’ve also completed safety training and always approach tasks with integrity, fairness, and a genuine willingness to help.
I’m active, reliable, and happy to help with homework, supervise play, and assist with daily routines. I understand the importance of trust and clear communication when caring for children, and I’m eager to build that trust with your family.
Current Availability:
I’m currently on university break, so I’m very flexible and available before and after school, evenings, and weekends. I also hold a driver’s licence and can assist with pick-ups and drop-offs.
Long-Term Availability:
Once university resumes, my timetable is still being finalised, but I expect to be available Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays, and weekends.
Hourly Rate:
As I’m new to babysitting, I’m happy to negotiate a fair and reasonable rate based on your needs.
Police Check:
I’m happy to obtain a police check if required.
Comfort with Age Groups:
I feel most confident working with school-aged children and toddlers, but I’m open to learning and gaining experience with younger children too. If you're open to guiding me, I’m more than willing to adapt and grow in the role.
Additional Info:
I’m currently undertaking a course in First Aid in an Education and Care Setting (including CPR), to ensure I can respond safely and confidently in any situation.
