Hello my name is Megan. I'm 50 years old and I live in Warburton. I have a Diploma in Community Services Child Care. I also have a Bachelor Degree in Social Work. I currently work 3 days per week as a counsellor. I would like to work an extra day or two a week minding children. Early in my working life I spent 10 years working in child care centres. I have spent over 30 years engaging in part time nannying work. I adore children and even though I qualified as a social worker many years ago, I have never wanted to give up working part time with children. I am nurturing, fun, creative and very energetic. I enjoy getting out and about in nature with children. I enjoy reading stories and singing with children as well as creating wonderful art projects. I am a caring mother of 3 who has been working with children for the last 15+ years. I was an assistant in the 3 year old group at a kindergarten for 8 years. I have Nannied for several families over the last seven years, the children’s ages range from babies to school age so I have experience with bottle feeding, nappy changes, sleep routines, preparing meals, kinder and school drop offs/pick ups and plenty of fun learning activities. I am currently working with a lovely family (3 children aged 8,6 & 4) for 1 day a week and am interested in finding another family on the other days.
