I love working with children and families and have an aware/mindful parenting approach where feelings are validated and heard. I’m playful, creative, attentive and always learning. I’m safety conscious and am very present with the children I look after. I have a background in childcare, primary and secondary teaching, educational consultancy and advocacy for children in foster care, community development, teaching mature aged students with a disability in RTOs and my absolute favourite, babysitting and nanny work in the family home which I have done for nearly 25 years on and off. I am a mother myself with two active boys of my own, 7 and 12 years. My youngest gear has AuDHD and PDA. I’m working three days a week as a teacher/tutor in a large high school which will cease at the end of 2025 due to funding. I am looking for 1-2 days in 2026. Due to my experience my rate is between $40 per hour. 🧡💙💛💜❤️

Looking for: Part-time

I have been working as a professional nanny for 25 years including six years in the United States. I decided to make nannying my career when working overseas as I found it both rewarding and enjoyable. I love working with children because they are unpredictable, fun and genuine. Everyday as a nanny is unique and it is my personal responsibility to make it as fun, informative and creative as possible. I have had a diverse range of jobs including sole-charge, working with a mum who is "in and out" and caring for children for up to four weeks whilst their parents have been holidaying or travelling for work. I have cared for families with 2 - 6 children with the ages ranging from newborns - 16 year. I believe the key to being a good nanny is providing a happy and safe environment for the children and having an open and honest relationship with the parents.

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

I'm an energetic, responsible, and easygoing person who has always loved spending time with children. I currently work part-time as a Paediatric Nurse, typically doing around four shifts per week, and I’m looking to take on some casual babysitting during my days off. Before starting my nursing career, I worked as a part-time nanny for over four years. During that time, I cared for children aged from 6 weeks to 6 years, including twins and multiple siblings. I also have 12 months of experience working in a crèche, further strengthening my ability to support children in a safe, nurturing environment. Thanks to my nursing roster being set about two months in advance, I’m able to plan and commit to babysitting shifts ahead of time. I’d love the opportunity to help out your family. I hope to hear from you soon!

I create fun, engaging, safe, and educational activities to promote child development. I bring reliability, patience, and warmth to every job I undertake. Understanding the importance of consistency, I’m committed to providing a stable and positive environment for your child and forming trusting relationships with you through open communication. My previous roles included preparing nutritious meals, organizing educational and recreational activities such as arts and crafts, outside time, and games. I assisted in homework and English lessons. I created fun ways to introduce sensory stimuli to infants, enhancing their exposure and experiences. I ran errands, school drop offs/pickups, cooked family meals, prepared lunchboxes and kept up with day-to-day routines. After every shift I provide notes, keeping the parents informed as I normally worked independently.

Hello there! I'm currently seeking a part-time or casual nanny position after the family I’ve been working with moved out of town. I have over a decade of experience working with children of all ages, from infants to teenagers, and I’ve formed long-term, trusting relationships with the families I’ve worked with. I frequently step in as auntie for close friends and family, and have a step-daughter of my own too. I also work as a kids’ party, workshop and play space facilitator, fuelling my passion for supporting self-expression, learning, empowerment and play. In other words, I love kid's and am very experienced in caring for all ages. Prior studies in yoga and eastern philosophies, and my current focus on counselling and psychology, along with personal experience navigating my own mental health and neurodiversity, have contributed greatly to my ability to attune to and communicate well with children. I have a high capacity for providing emotional support, practicing non-violent communication and staying calm and regulated in stressful situations. My priority is to foster a mutually safe, trusting relationship with children and their families, and to nurture emotional regulation and connection, ensuring children feel seen, heard, and respected, aligning with familial values and being a positive role-model. I bring a playful and creative spirit with a love for exploration, adventures as well as cozy and fun times at home. I'm confident with planning activities, inspiring play and coming up with ideas that encourage joy and learning. I'm also a big fan of child-lead play and enjoy discovering and nurturing whatever sparks the child's interest and enthusiasm, and I find it very rewarding being a part of nurturing a child's interests and talent. I’m very happy to assist with daily tasks like morning and bedtime routines, school drop-offs, errands, meal prep, homework, laundry and general household upkeep. Grossed out by the head lice your kid kindly bought home from daycare? I've got you covered! I'm very aware of the stress and chaos that can come with juggling work, home and personal life while raising little ones , and take great joy in being able to support families to survive and to help children thrive. Being invited into a child's life to nurture their wellbeing and help them to grow, learn, and enjoy their world is a privilege and a joy, and I look forward to continuing to be a positive, supportive and inspiring presence for the next little human and their family.
