My name is Bhawna, and I completed my Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2022. I have 2.5 years of experience working in child and adult care, including hands-on experience in NICU and PICU, where I provided safe, attentive, and compassionate care to newborns, infants, and children in critical and routine care settings.
I have also completed my Aged Care course and have 1 year of experience working as a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) in aged care. This role strengthened my skills in personal care, hygiene, infection control, safe manual handling, and respectful communication while supporting individuals with dignity and empathy.
I truly enjoy working with babies and children, and caring for them brings me genuine happiness and fulfilment. I am passionate about providing gentle, patient, and attentive care, including feeding, nappy changing, bathing, settling babies, maintaining sleep routines, monitoring wellbeing, and creating a safe and nurturing environment. My nursing background allows me to recognise early signs of discomfort or illness and respond calmly and appropriately.
I am reliable, nurturing, and highly attentive to children’s emotional and physical needs. I value open communication with parents and am committed to providing a safe, warm, and supportive environment where children feel secure, comfortable, and well cared
