Hi, I'm Mia, an 18-year-old from Melbourne with a strong background working with children through netball coaching, umpiring and leadership roles.
I currently coach junior netball teams and have experience supporting and mentoring children of different ages and abilities. Through coaching, I've developed patience, clear communication skills and the ability to create a positive, safe and inclusive environment where children can learn, have fun and build confidence.
In addition to coaching, I am a qualified umpire and work as an Umpire Coordinator at my local netball club, where I organise and support umpires each week. These roles have strengthened my responsibility, organisation and problem-solving skills, and I am comfortable managing groups of children and handling situations calmly and maturely.
I am reliable, friendly and approachable, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with children. Whether it's helping with homework, playing games, doing crafts, supervising activities or assisting with bedtime routines, I aim to make every child feel comfortable, supported and cared for.
Parents can feel confident knowing their children are with someone who is responsible, trustworthy and experienced in working with young people. I look forward to helping local families and creating a fun and positive experience for both children and parents.
