I am 55 with over 30yrs experience as an early childhood educator. I am experienced with all ages and have all required documentation etc. Seeking permanent/ongoing days/hours. Can do sleepovers . I love animals, nature, swimming, walks along the beach or in the bush, drawing , painting and colouring in. I love shopping, cafes, movies, reading, journaling, writing and making cards. I also really enjoy building lego. creating out of recycled materials, gardening and potting herbs, painting/decorating pots. Being in the company of children teaches me to live in the moment and to be fully present. My work with children brings me much joy and I have enjoyed many close relationships with children and their families over the years. Hi there, I have just finished studying my certificate 3 and hope to possibly continue on with my diploma or bachelor part time this year. I have loved the study and the placements and adored the babies I was working with. I have just completed my 3 - 5 year old placement and had a bunch of fun with the kinder group. I also have been working in OHSC for the last year which I really enjoyed. This work was with 5+ years (primary). As much as I loved working in a group setting I find it much more fulfilling providing support and guidance one on one (or few basis) and concentrating on developmental goals and milestones. I love watching children learn and grow and feel I have the skills to challenge and support their needs as they progress.

My rate $20 p/h for 2 children and $25 p/h for 3 or more, however this is negotiable as I understand childcare is a necessity not a luxury.
