Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hey there, My name is Chloe and I've been nannying/babysitting for many years around the Bayside area. I nannied full-time for two seperate families between June 2017 and August 2019 whilst completing my undergraduate studies, and have babysat for various families in the area since 2016. I grew up in a big extended family (on both sides), and have always been surrounded by kids, toddlers and babies. I studied Nursing/Midwifery for a year after school, and whilst this wasn't the career for me in the end, I learnt a great deal in that year. I'm still very interested in childhood development and love getting to know kids of all ages; I think they can teach you great perspective and how to enjoy the little things in life. I also became an Auntie in 2023 and have been helping my brother and SIL out with the little one, so I’m very comfortable with babies now! My gorgeous niece is now 16 months old :) I'm also involved in a school tutoring program for children living in the Collingwood and Richmond commission housing through Operation Stitches and am finding this extremely rewarding to be a part of. I tutor two Year 6 kids and it's been fantastic to watch them grow in both confidence and skills throughout the school year. A bit about me - I love to get out in nature as much as possible, enjoy gardening and tending to my ridiculous amount of indoor plants! I'm a huge animal lover, and volunteer with a rescue organisation which I absolutely love; they have a farm sanctuary in the Yarra Valley which I try to get to once a fortnight. I also love to cook, head on walks with my 6 yo dog and I certainly get around a board game! Regarding my availability, I work 4 days a week at a sustainability consulting firm - so I'm only available during the day on Fridays, as well as night time and on the weekends. I have a WWCC, Police Check and First Aid and am happy to provide all of this to you if you'd like. I can also provide you with references, both current and past families. Feel free to get in touch! Thanks, Chloe

Hi, I’m 23 years old with several years of experience in babysitting, au pairing, and, most importantly, professional childcare. I’ve babysat a 2-year-old every day for 6 months, worked as an au pair for a year with three children aged 4, 7, and 9, and spent over a year in a formal childcare setting, primarily caring for toddlers (2–3 years old) and kindergarten-aged children. I’m very familiar with childcare rules and early learning programs, and I hold a current Working With Children Check (WWCC), First Aid certification, and a Police Check. I also speak French and would be happy to introduce or teach the language to children in a fun, engaging way. I’m passionate, responsible, and love supporting children in their growth and development.

Hello! My name's Oliwia, I'm 23 years old and I came from Poland. I have a year of experience as an Au Pair! I worked in Norway for a wonderful family of 5, with 3 amazing, loud and energetic girls aged 3, 5 and 7. My tasks, apart from creating happy memories for my girls, also included light housekeeping and cooking dinner/preparing food for the whole family. Before that, I had the opportunity to work as an Educator in Spain, where I'd conduct classes of Polish to groups of kids aged 2-3 and 4-6 yo in a fun way :) I adore kids, their curiosity, and the ease they have in finding beauty in the simplest things! I am very patient and non-judgmental. I know how important it is for the kid to have space to express themselves and their feelings, so I make sure they have it when I'm around. And, what's even more important for them, is that we have fun :)

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi there! I am very excited about meeting and getting to know you. About me: I have been providing childcare over the past 22 years. The last 9 of those I have been a Nanny. I am looking for a Permanent Part-time position/s; as I am back at Uni come July. 85% of my classes are asynchronous online classes, so I get to set my study hour. I have worked with many different family equations: twins with a younger siblings, all girls, all boys, brothers and sisters, and solo children. I’ve looked after children from 9mths - 12 years old. Children are different and I stay adaptable, because as they age - how I interacted with them must change. Some children are runners, some are quite contemplators, others always need to be crafting and creating big cardboard constructions, while another is quite happy to sit and do colouring in and drawing non-stop. They all ask questions after question non stop, lols (as a result you get to learn from having to google answers to the questions you don’t have an answer for. For e.g. I now know the oldest living animal is the Greenland shark and it is guessed to have a lifespan of 250-500 yrs, the current oldest one is guessed to be 300 years old) I like to play word games and math games and encourage conversation, I let the children lead as to what they want to do, to buikd confidence in their own voice. Duties I undertake: MORNING ROUTINS; breakfast, lunch boxes, school bag packing, day-care/kinder/school drop offs -For the little ones when at home and not at daycare/kindy. I like to have our week planned. Be it excursions to the zoo, park an indoor play center, library time or classes that helps their development (that the parents have enrolled them into) like Gymbaroo, Ready steady go, All Sports etc. to activities we can do at the house like baking or painting or even a playdate with their best friend. HOUSE MANAGEMENT; grocery and maintenance of pantry & basic medicine (ie expiries and organisation), light laundry duties, light house keeping, school holiday and pupil free day planning, meal planning, food prep (dietary requirements taken into consideration, naturally) multi-tasking and more. AFTERNOON ROUTINE; networking with other parents at the children’s school that the children are friends with or do extra curriculum with, extracurricular coordination, planning of play dates, supervise-assistance with homework and practice for their extra curriculum. With additional extras from me if wanted/needed or time permits (eg. Music theroy, maths etc.) EVENING ROUTINE; Shower/bath time, dinner, oral hygiene, an evening game (if time permits) and attend their unique bedtime routine. History summary: •I started child caring in 2002 when I was 14: for my, then, piano teacher’s son. I cared for him 3 days a week, (after school) from the age of 2-8, while his mother worked from home: I had to master the skill of noise level control, while I was young myself. •Once I was 16 I began to babysit for other families during the evenings, nights and on weekends. •When I started my tertiary studies I babysat casually between my part-time job and my studies 2006-2009 •Between 2010-2015 I would babysit and assist as a mother's helper when asked, whilst working 4 part-time jobs. •In 2016 I went to Paris as an Au Pair. And fell in love with France. •In 2017 back in Oz; I undertook causal & part-time child-care positions. For families with babies, toddlers and preschoolers. •Eventual I found an amazing family of 5 (3 girls aged: 7, 10 & 12) to work for, as a full-time Nanny, I was with them from July 2017-July 2020. When it no longer made sense for me to be there whilst they worked from home, and the 3 girls couldn’t do their extra curricula’s because of lockdowns, or go to school. NOTE: Ages I give are of how old the children were, when I finished. •The next Family, was a family of 4; a boy- 9 years old & a girl - 7 years old, providing before and after school care 5 days a week from Feb 2021-Aug 2021. •From Sept 2021-Dec 2024; I have been working F/T with a great Family of 4: 2 boys; 5 & 9 years old. Essentials: - Valid Victorian Drivers Licence - WWCC: exp. 26/10/2028 - Police Check: exp. 20.09.25 - Level 2: First Aid (inclusive: Asthma, CPR exp. June 2025, & Epi-pen) exp. June 2027 - CV: with copies of my credentials - References If you have read this far, I look forward to receiving a message from you. ☺️
