Looking for: Full-time,Part-time

My name is Laura Bartlett, I am 25 years old. I come from a small country town on the border of NSW and VIC. I have a passion for working with children, coming from a big family at home I have always cared for and babysat my young cousins from new-born to all ages. I have recently enrolled in early childhood education to begin my future career working in kindergartens and preschools. I have had 2 jobs previously as a private nanny. While I was living back home in the country I worked for a family as their private nanny. Matt the Father of the children employed me to care for his 2 children aged 4 - 6. I regretfully had to give up this position due to moving to Melbourne. Since moving to Melbourne I worked as a private nanny for a lovely family, Chantelle the mother of the children employed me to care for their 4 children aged 12 months, 3, 6 and 8 years old. I am currently seeking a future Nannying role in Melbourne to continue my passion for working with babies and children. I am skilled in safe use of car seats, preparing food and safe eating, sleeping routines, caring for newborns, helping with homework, medications and first aid, morning and evening routines. I am more than willing and capable to help you around the house with any chores or jobs you may need such as dishes, laundry and washing, housekeeping duties, or any preparation needed to help free up your time to spend with your family

Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi there! I am very excited about meeting and getting to know you. About me: I have been providing childcare over the past 22 years. The last 9 of those I have been a Nanny. I have worked with many different family equations: twins with a younger siblings, all girls, all boys, brothers and sisters, and solo children. The ages I have looked after are from 9mths - 12 years old. My favorite age to look after are children 14 mths - 5 years old, I know I shouldn’t have a favorite age, but I do. I also find the easiest age to look after is 8-11 (they might have more tude but they are able to attend to their selfcare without much prompting). However all children are different and I stay adaptable, because as they age - how I interacted with them must change. Some children are runners, some are quite contemplators, others always need to be crafting and creating big cardboard constructions, while another is quite happy to sit and do colouring in and drawing non-stop. They all ask questions after question non stop, lols (as a result you get to learn from having to google answers to the questions you don’t have an answer for. For e.g. I now know the oldest living animal is the Greenland shark and it is guessed to have a lifespan of 250-500 yrs, the current oldest one is guessed to be 300 years old) I like to play word games and encourage conversation at dinner time. While walking or driving to school or activities, I like to play math games or encourage conversation, I let the children lead as to what they want to do, to encourage confidence in ones own voice. Duties I undertake: MORNING ROUTINS; breakfast, lunch boxes, school bag packing, day-care/kinder/school drop offs -For the little ones when at home and not at daycare/kindy. I like to have our week planned. Be it excursions to the zoo, park an indoor play center, library time or classes that helps their development (that the parents have enrolled them into) like Gymbaroo, Ready steady go, All Sports etc. to activities we can do at the house like baking or painting or even a playdate with their best friend. HOUSE MANAGEMENT; grocery and maintenance of pantry & basic medicine (ie expiries and organisation), light laundry duties, light house keeping, school holiday and pupil free day planning, meal planning, food prep (dietary requirements taken into consideration, naturally) multi-tasking and more. AFTERNOON ROUTINE; networking with other parents at the children’s school that the children are friends with or do extra curriculum with, extracurricular coordination, planning of play dates, supervise-assistance with homework and practice for their extra curriculum. With additional extras from me if wanted/needed or time permits (eg. Music theroy, maths etc.) EVENING ROUTINE; Shower/bath time, dinner, oral hygiene, an evening game (if time permits) and attend their unique bedtime routine. History summary: •I started child caring in 2002 when I was 14: for my, then, piano teacher’s son. I cared for him 3 days a week, (after school) from the age of 2-8, while his mother worked from home: I had to master the skill of noise level control, while I was young myself. •Once I was 16 I began to babysit for other families during the evenings, nights and on weekends. •When I started my tertiary studies I babysat casually between my part-time job and my studies 2006-2009 •Between 2010-2015 I would babysit and assist as a mother's helper when asked, whilst working 4 part-time jobs. •In 2016 I went to Paris as an Au Pair. And fell in love with France. •In 2017 back in Oz; I undertook causal & part-time child-care positions. For families with babies, toddlers and preschoolers. •Eventual I found an amazing family of 5 (3 girls aged: 7, 10 & 12) to work for, as a full-time Nanny, I was with them from July 2017-July 2020. When it no longer made sense for me to be there whilst they worked from home, and the 3 girls couldn’t do their extra curricula’s because of lockdowns, or go to school. NOTE: Ages I give are of how old the children were, when I finished. •The next Family, was a family of 4; a boy- 9 years old & a girl - 7 years old, providing before and after school care 5 days a week from Feb 2021-Aug 2021. •From Sept 2021-Dec 2024; I have been working F/T with a great Family of 4: 2 boys; 5 & 9 years old. Essentials: - Valid Victorian Drivers Licence - WWCC: exp. 26/10/2028 - Police Check: exp. 20.09.25 - Level 2: First Aid (inclusive: Asthma, CPR exp. June 2025, & Epi-pen) exp. June 2027 - CV: with copies of my credentials - References If you have read this far, I look forward to receiving a message from you. ☺️

Looking for: Part-time

I am a 20 year old female who relocated to Melbourne in 2023 from a coastal town in New South Wales to pursue my studies. Currently, I rent my own accommodation and work in luxury retail, balancing my professional commitments with my passion for childcare. My experience in nannying began at the age of 16, where I started by caring for family friends. Since moving to Melbourne, I have been fortunate to work with a family for a year on a permanent basis, and I continue to provide casual support for date nights and afternoon relief for multiple families in their circle. I also worked for another family at the same time for one day of afternoon relief and sports weekly which has progressed my experience largely. I currently nanny for a family three days a week (soon dropping to 1 day) allowing me to engage fully with the children while managing my studies and work schedule effectively. I find immense joy in the time spent with children, as it provides a refreshing counterbalance to the demands of adult life. Building meaningful relationships with the children I care for is incredibly rewarding, and I take pride in establishing trust and fostering their growth. I am well-acquainted with after-school routines and maintaining a tidy home, as I believe a clean and organised environment contributes to a positive atmosphere for children. In addition to my large childcare experience, I am meticulous about cleanliness and find therapeutic value in household tasks aswell as cooking and prep for school. I prefer early afternoon starts into the evening as that has been majority of my work and has worked well for me. I would be delighted to be considered as your experienced nanny and supportive friend for your family, bringing enthusiasm and a nurturing spirit to every interaction.
