Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hello lovely Parents, I'm an energetic, creative and responsible woman who has proof of experience with young children and babies. I truly enjoy playing, discovering and learning from each unique personality of my young friends. I've been working in children's birthday parties and babysitting since I was 15. The most exciting experience was held in 2021 when I worked as a teacher/facilitator of a weekly workshop on "Art and Game" for groups of 3-6 and 7-10 years old where I created and co-created fun and meaningful experiences in all sort of topics (ask me about it! :) ). I Have a certificate of Yoga for children from which tools I've wanted to apply again. I believe that each parent is truly doing the best they can for his son/daughter, so I'm more than happy to respect your style and rules. Honest communication and constructive feedback are a must. Looking forward to hearing from you :). Thank you for your trust.

Hello there! A little about me. I’m a compassionate, friendly, caring, responsible and patient person with a high spirit and a passion for life. Optimistic at all times and always determined and confident to do well. Helping children grow in a healthy, happy and safe environment is very significant, and just comes naturally to me. Educate right from wrong, along with great manners is also very important, and therefore much encouraged. I have worked for many families here in Australia, and overseas. I've also raised my own four children, (one set of twins) who are now wonderful young adults - educated, intelligent and well respected individuals., but of course I’m biased! During my many years of experience, working for over a dozen families, I have also cared for children who were unfortunately hard of hearing, autistic and leukaemia. I do light housekeeping, including cooking and baking ( which I so enjoy) but if time permits. Happy to assist and support with the family’s needs, I’m happy with all ages.....they are all so lovely and unique in there own way, and yet wonderfully challenging:) My previous occupations (other than nanny) - Laboratory assistant, Fitness Instructor, Hospitality, Caterer, Receptionist, Retail Manager, Administration Officer and Intergration Aide. Although I am 58 years of age, I am full of energy, fit and healthy ( enjoy a healthy lifestyle ) and so, my outlook in life is - young! I have exceptional references from previous and present employers who will verify my experience and work ethic as a nanny/educator, and answer any of your questions. Please do not hesitate to contact me should you have any queries or would like to chat about your needs. Looking forward to hearing from you :) Many Thanks. Maria 😊

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi lovely parents! My name is Téa and I am looking for work, either part time or casual. Ideally, any parents reaching out need someone to babysit/child mind on a regular basis or to help in regards to an upcoming event. Background: I am in my third year of uni, studying a bachelor of arts at the University of Melbourne. I major in psychology, and hope to one day work as an animal assisted therapist for children. Availability: I am only available to work on the weekends and Monday or Tuesday nights. This is because I currently work with 3 lovely families. One that requires casual babysitting once every fortnight or so after hours, so my availability can fluctuate but I will happily convey this with you. A second that requires before school help from Monday through to Friday from 7:30am till 11am. And the third requires fortnightly help on Thursday’s from 5:30pm till 8:30pm. Rate: My rate is $40 per hour, but I charge an extra $10 per hour (ie. $50 per hour) if you are wanting me to stay past midnight. Services: 1. Babysitting/child minding 2. Pet sitting/walking 3. Cooking/meal prep 4. Light cleaning 5. Basic homework help 6. Fun! Experience and Qualifications: As I’ve mentioned, I am currently working with three families. One where I look after two young boys aged 9 and 12, another where I look after a 6 yearold girl and newborn baby boy, and the third family has two boys ager 4 and 6. However, my experience working with children is much more vast. One of my hobbies growing up was playing chess, and I have fortunately been able to make a job out of it by tutoring primary and secondary school students. I have worked solo with classes of 3 to 20+ students at a time, and in team settings with 400 kids under my care. This means that I have gained a deep understanding as how to work with children who have learning difficulties and behavioural challenges. My work also requires me to have an employee wwcc and first aid certificate in an education and care setting. Upon request I am happy to share these with you. I have my license and can take kids to and from school/sport or any other activities. If I had your permission, I would love to take them to the zoo, park, bowling, etc to keep them entertained and happy. I completely understand if you would prefer to meet me before agreeing to any work and am happy to do so. I can’t wait to hear from you :)

Looking for: Full-time,Part-time

Hi my name is Olivia :) I have been travelling Europe for the past 7 months and get back on the 12th of February and I am now seeking some more employment involving working with children. My main expereince besides little gigs here and there was: Previously to my travels a looked after a gorgeous boy for just short of a year who turned 2 while I was looking after him. I really enjoyed this and created a lovely bond but unfortunately his family moved to Perth. The hours were 8-6pm and I am looking for something similar. Prior to that I nannied casually for a 2 and a half year old boy who I took to the pools often (this job was for a few months). Another family of two girls; a 6 month year old and 4 year old who needed my help for 3 months while their old helper was away. A german family who ive made a good relationship with and nannied for them on two different occasions (a few months stint each time) who stay in Melbourne for a but to visit family. (They were 6 months and 2 years old the first time and 2 and a half and 4 the following) Before some travels I did in 2022 I looked after a young girl around one years old for 6 months which was also long houred days. Those two gigs were under an angency called The Reinforcement nannying agency. Which no longer runs. I have been a children's swimming teacher for Elite Swimming where I dealt with a wide range of ages typically (2-13 years old) in group and private situations. I have also done casual baby sitting for 6+ years for local families where I first gained experience with kids varying ages. I am the second oldest out of four girls and therefore I am very family orientated and have grown up in a household surrounded by other kids which has taught me a lot of valuable skills such as communication and patience. I am currently a paused uni student who was studying a bachelor of science at Monash prior to my travels. I have taken intermission from this as im unsure if its still what i would like to study. I am a very caring, energetic, friendly person who is a reliable, confident, flexible worker. I believe I have a nurturing nature and genuinely love being around and caring for kids. I love being able to watch a child I look after flourish and development into their own unique character. I also am more than happy to help out with cleaning up around the house, preparing meals, bathing etc. A bit about me: I love playing sports (netball and football), being in nature, cooking, listening to music, leading an active lifestyle as well as partaking in spontaneous activities with my friends and always trying and learning new things! I am more than happy to give anymore information required by potential employers and provide parent references. I recently refreshed my first aid, I have a car and have a WWCC.

I love completing homework and getting outside with the children and exploring what the outside world has to offer and switch off from technology for a while. After school activities are not a problem at all. I have been full time nannying for a family who is now unfortunately moving interstate. The importance of looking after your children is second to none. I believe routine is important, however, fun is too when tasks have been accomplished. I love encouragement, being joyful, empathetic and i am extremely very adaptable to all children’s/young adult needs. I also have experience with children with special needs including autism. To simply put it, I adore children, as our children are our future. And, currently the world we live in we must appreciate our children’s innocence, even if only for a while - without so much technology i might add! ’. I hope to be the person that children have memories of when they are older, just like i do to this very day. Just pure happy memories.
