Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi! My name is Nikki and I am a qualified Early Childhood Educator. I have always loved children and taking care of them. I have a natural maternal nature and kindness and honesty are most important to me. My mum has a photo of me when I was 7yrs old with my 1yr old sister on my hip while everyone else was playing. Probably explains my sore back! I like to enjoy my time with the children I look after, so I’m always looking for fun and creative ways for them to learn and continue to grow into their own unique selves. I am triple vaccinated, have a WWC and police check available. Please feel free to get in touch!

Looking for: Part-time

My career began in a long day care center, moving into nannying full time in 2012. In my nanny career I have worked with a broad range of families including newborns, infant twins, all ages up to teens, children with ADHD, Autism and Down syndrome, six-children family, households with more than one nanny, nanny/house management combined, many pets, traveled to Bali and America with families and lived for 5 years in Brisbane also. I have been volunteering with The Australian Nanny Association for a number of years now and recently voted in as President. In 2024 I launched Bridal Bliss Nannies - a dedicated wedding nanny service. I am seeking a long term role - where the children are the focus, incorporating children’s laundry, meal prep and basic family errands into the role. With play based learning and everyday activities the focus of my care. If you’re looking for someone to spend days outside, lots of creative play, interests fostered and someone who is attentive to your child’s needs - let’s chat!

Hi, I’m Daniel! I have years of experience babysitting and naturally connect well with kids. I believe in keeping children engaged with fun activities, whether it’s outdoor play, creative projects, or adventures—rather than just screen time. I have my own car, first aid training, and a strong sense of responsibility. I’m also confident in the kitchen and happy to help with meal prep. My goal is to create a safe, fun, and enriching environment where kids feel comfortable and excited. I’d love to bring my enthusiasm and reliability to a great family!

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi! I’m Millie 👋 I’ve just finished my Master’s degree and while I’m on the hunt for a full-time role in Dietetics, I’d love to spend my time babysitting. I currently work weekends at The Hotel Esplanade, so I’m free during the week. I’m super chatty, energetic, and love keeping busy—whether that’s cooking up something yummy, heading to the park, or kicking the footy around. I play AFL and surf, so I’m always up for outdoor adventures. I’ve also worked as a swim teacher at Trinity Grammar (Primary School), which gave me heaps of experience working with kids of all ages. I love games, books, and finding fun activities that suit each child’s personality. I’m reliable, flexible, and genuinely enjoy creating a safe and happy environment. Most importantly—I’ll make sure we have lots of fun!

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi there! I am very excited about meeting and getting to know you. ABOUT ME: I have been providing childcare over the past 22 years, and I have looked after more than 50 children in this time. The last 9 of those years, I have been a Nanny. I have worked with many different families: with 1-4 children; twins with a younger sibling, all girls, all boys, brothers & sisters; with an age range of 9mths - 12 years old. As all children & families are different I like to stay adaptable, to meet the needs of the unique situation. Some children are runners, some are quite contemplators, others always need to be crafting and creating big cardboard constructions, while another is quite happy to sit while colouring in and drawing hrs on end. However they all ask questions non stop, lols. And I love that because of their curiosity, I too learn; from having to google answers to the questions I don’t have answers for, e.g. I now know the oldest living animal is the Greenland shark, and it is guessed to have a lifespan of 250-500 yrs. With the current oldest one guessed to be 300 years old! But I only learned this because one child I looked after LOVED the ocean and all its wonders. :) I find I lean towards the Montessori Method of teaching children. I follow the theme of their current interest for play, games and conversations, and I like to incorporate their current obsession, be it space or dinosaurs into our word & math games and everything else we do together. MORNING ROUTINE; breakfast, lunch boxes, school bag packing, day-care/kinder/school drop offs -For the little ones when at home and not at daycare/kindy. I like to have our week planned. Be it excursions to the zoo, park, an indoor play center, library time or classes that helps their development: that the parents have enrolled them into, or I have found that the Mum’s & Dad’s like; e.g. Gymbaroo, Ready steady go, All Sports etc., to activities we can do at the house like baking or painting or even a playdate with their friend/s. HOUSE MANAGEMENT; groceries, maintenance of pantry & basic medicine (ie expiry dates & organisation), light laundry duties, light house keeping, tiding up after myself & the little ones, keeping the kitchen clean & hygienic, school holiday & pupil free day planning, meal planning, food & meal prep (dietary requirements taken into consideration) multi-tasking and other Ad-Hoc tasks. AFTERNOON ROUTINE; networking with other parents & carers at the children’s school- that the children are friends with or do extra curriculum’s with, extracurricular coordination (this is where the networking can sometimes help with car pooling & swapping weeks), planning of play dates, supervise-assistance with homework and practice for their extra curriculum’s. With additional extras from me if wanted/needed or time permits (eg. Music theory, maths etc.) ***I have help children further develop their music skills with my attention and knowledge than what they get in 1 30min class a week. And I have helped with development of their Math & literacy skills. HOWEVER my proudest achievement was some how managing to help my French charge (when an AuPair in Paris) go from an almost F (from her former AuPair) in her French Class to an A. While I was only at a very basic beginner level with my own French skills. EVENING ROUTINE; Shower/bath time, dinner, oral hygiene, an evening game (if time permits) and attend their unique bedtime routine. HISTORY SUMMARY: •2002-2003 I started child caring when I was 14: for my piano teacher’s son. I cared for him 3 days a week, (after school) from the age of 2-8, while his mother worked from home: I had to master the skill of noise level control, while I was young & noisy myself. •2003-2005 Once I was 16 I began to babysit for other families during the evenings & weekends. •2006-2009 Durning my tertiary studies I babysat casually between my part-time job and classes. •2010-2015 I babysat and assisted as a mother's helper, whilst working 4 part-time jobs. •2016-2017 I was an AuPair in Paris. And fell in LOVE with France. •2017-2017 Back in Melb; I did causal & part-time child-care, for families with babies, toddlers & preschoolers. Until I found a family that needed a Full-time Nanny. NOTE: for the below the ages are how old the children were when I left. •July 2017-July 2020: F/T Nanny—4 Days a week: Full Days, for a family of 5; 3 girls aged: 7, 10 & 12. • Feb 2021-Aug 2021: Temp P/T Nanny—5 Days a week: Split days, for a family of 4; 1 boy aged 9 & girl aged 7. •Sept 2021-Dec 2024: F/T Nanny—5 Days a week: 2 Full & 3 Half days, for a family of 4: 2 boys aged 5 & 9. ESSENTIALS: - Valid Victorian Drivers Licence - WWCC: exp. 26/10/2028 - Police Check: exp. 20.09.25 - Level 2: First Aid (inclusive: Asthma, CPR exp. June 2025, & Epi-pen) exp. June 2027 - CV: with copies of my credentials - References If you have read this far, I look forward to receiving a message from you. ☺️

Hello! I have extensive experience and references for nanny/babysitting from babies to school age. Still currently involved in caring for 2 girls I have cared for since they were babies, 6 years now. However this has reduced due to them getting older and attending school and kinder. It’s been beautiful being a part of their lives having fun, laughing, playing, learning and preparing meals all whilst keeping them safe and in a routine. They call me aunty which still brings a smile to my face every time including the cuddles! I am a mum myself with a late high school teen and enjoy every aspect of parenting. So I know the drill! Caring for others gives me a sense of pride and I love giving my positive energy to others. I am a helpful person at heart. I am a home owner therefore respectful of your home, being clean and tidy. Weekends now available for casual babysitting too. I look forward to hearing from you. Thank you for reading :)

Hi, I have boundless energy. In fact, I can do what most people half my age are incapable of! I am not an inexperienced , student. I am a mature, experienced, educated, fun-loving and caring professional Nanny. My experience as a Nanny began 15 years ago with a family who had a premature baby, and 8 years later I was still there! Since finishing with my first family, I have worked through various agencies and privately for many families. With my most recent family I have worked as a full-time Nanny and House-keeper looking after their two children as well as their home and their dog!Approximately six months into my employment with this family, my duties extended and I acted as a Personal Assistant This was in addition to my Nanny role. I am looking for a family that I fit in with as a friend as well as an employee, and I am willing to care for twins, newborns, etc. I am punctual, meticulously clean, professional, friendly, and very loving toward all children in my care. I have been described as a "Girl Friday" and many other professionally flattering epithets I can adapt to any situation! Also, while I have specified my preferred hours and days, I am relatively flexible so if you are interested in a day / time I have not specified please feel free to contact me. Furthermore, I am happy assisting with light house-hold duties in addition to my primary Nannying and Personal Assitant duties. I bring the highest standards of organisation to any kitchen, pantry, laundry and dressing-room! I have excellent ironing skills and I would be happy to offer this in tandem, however, this would be negotiated at an additiional hourly rate.
