Hello, I am Mia, I am a paediatric physiotherapist and a responsible and caring babysitter with 9 years of experience. I have worked for over 60 families and I will be more than happy to give you my references. I'm reliable, trustworthy, and ready to make your little ones feel comfortable and happy while you're away! I look forward to meeting you! Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi there! My name is Safiya. I am 26, born and raised in Melbourne's north. I work in case management for a domestic violence program, assisting families to re-establish their life free from violence. I have 3 younger and 2 older brothers. I look after my nieces aged 4 and 6, and my 10-month-old nephew, on a regular basis. I am all too familiar with the nappy changes, feeding, playing and soothing. I have a disabled 75-year-old grandmother who I also care for once a week. This includes personal care such as pad changes, hoisting and showering. I enjoy caring for others and am often referred to as the mother of the group by my loved ones. I can offer sincerity, trust, compassion and years of experience as an aunty. A firm believer that it takes a village to raise a child, I do not take the trust of looking after someone's child lightly. Following the closure of the Escaping Violence Program, I have been providing casual babysitting services since 1 September. I am currently available for work until 5th December, as I will be travelling for two months. I do not have a first aid certificate but I am willing to obtain. Writing a statement does not do my character justice, so I encourage you to contact me and decide for yourself! Kind Regards, Safiya

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi there Mums & Dads.... I am your Mary Poppins!! I currently look after a few families however my calendar has opened for a new family in 2025. I commit to long hour and long term commitment for the year with all of my families. It's important. Currently I cover ages 8 months, 12 months, 2.5 years, 4.5 years and 9 & 11 years olds. I understand the variety of changing developments in children and adapt to these needs. I love children and have looked after them across many stages of my entire life, as a local babysitter since I was 14 years old and up until now as a professional nanny for parents who are doctors, solicitors, engineers, school teachers, marketing specialist and even a CEO. Having a person of a mature age can provide some enormous benefits to both parents and children. I know life well and in very deeply different ways. I have an extensive understanding of the impact a moment or day in time can have on a child. Being there to pick up on these signals is very important. Recognising and sensing these subtle shifts need an awareness that comes with human development, of which I have covered extensively. Keeping a child calm and happy is important and to have skills that remove the stress and anxiety is about the energy from the nanny/babysitter. To become relaxed and connected/engaged with a mature age carer can offer great comfort to any child. The love will always be there. I follow routines and set boundaries, (initiated from the parents) for all children because it creates security and trust with them. I participate in both home and outdoor activities and excursions. I can drive my own car (petrol charges incur) or use any parents' cars. I cover household cleaning (light house work: all things kids mess, upkeep where possible in the laundry area, keep kitchen clean) to take the burden away from parents so they can come home to a cleaner environment than perhaps they left it. This is always discussed in detail for any family because I am not a 'house cleaner' I am a Nanny. I am extremely reliable and punctual to enable all parents to relax knowing I will always be there for them. I look forward to hearing from you. Nanny Clare

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi! I’m a 19 year old who absolutely loves spending time with children and making sure they feel safe, happy, and supported. I’m currently studying a Bachelor of Animal and Veterinary Biosciences with the dream of becoming a vet — caring for both animals and people has always been such a big part of who I am. I currently am nannying for a lovely family every Tuesday, where my role involves school/kinder drop offs and pickups, and keeping them engaged with fun activities, helping with routines, and ensuring they feel safe and supported while their parents are working. I have also spent time doing work experience at a childcare centre, where I looked after children of different ages, joined in on games and creative activities, reading to them, outside play, and keeping things tidy and organised. Getting to observe the childcare educators and how they interact with the children taught me valuable skills and insights into supporting kids in a positive and caring way. It really showed me how much I enjoy spending time with children and that this is something I really would love to be doing day to day. I have my P2 driver’s licence and my own car, so school/daycare drop-offs, pick-ups, and outings are no problem. I’m also happy to help around the house with cooking, light cleaning, or anything else that makes life a little easier for your family. My university schedule is quite flexible during the week, and I’m also available on weekends. I’m reliable, caring, and always bring a positive attitude. I’d love the chance to get to know your family and be someone you can trust to look after your children!!

I’m also happy to assist with any pets, cooking, and any cleaning. Although I don’t have my driver’s license yet, I’m comfortable using public transport for tasks such as shopping, or running any errands. My availability is flexible, including most weekdays and weekends. Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting,Au Pair

Hi, I’m Zaira, a caregiver with a deep love for children As the eldest of six children, caring for others has always been a big part of my life. From a young age, I naturally stepped into a role of responsibility, helping to look after my siblings, cousins, and extended family while our parents worked. Growing up in Africa, that kind of support within the family is second nature — it’s how we’re raised, and it’s something I’ve always taken pride in. After moving to Australia, that same love for caring didn’t change. I’ve looked after my neighbour’s daughter, and most memorably, a beautiful baby girl named Maya. I began caring for her when she was just three months old, and stayed with her until she turned one. She became like family to me, and being part of her early milestones, from her first smile to her first steps, was incredibly special. Working with children brings me real joy. I love watching their personalities grow, listening to their little stories, and being someone they feel safe and happy around. I’ve always been known for being patient, gentle, and reliable whether it’s keeping routines in place, helping with learning and play, or simply offering comfort when it’s needed most. Looking after children isn’t just something I do. It’s something I genuinely care about. Every child deserves to feel loved, supported, and understood, and I always aim to create that kind of space when I’m with them. I’m grateful for every opportunity to be part of a child’s life and to support families in whatever way I can.
