I have worked in the childcare industry for over 2 years! I have always loved children and cannot wait to have my own children one day. I’ve worked full time in the baby room and the junior Toddler room at a childcare as well as working in schools doing OSHC and Teacher Aiding. I currently work in a childcare and am looking to help out any families whether it be a once off occasion or a full/part time job.

I’m an experienced childcare and youth support worker with a strong background in supporting children and young people with complex behaviours, disabilities, and diverse needs. I bring over 7 years of hands-on experience in both home, school and community settings, and I’m passionate about creating safe, nurturing, and empowering environments for the children and families I support. I have an ABN, Insurance, Blue Card, Yellow Disability Card, First Aid & CPR, Safe Food Handling. My qualifications are a Certificate 3 in Children's Services, A Certificate 4 in Community Services, a Diploma of Child, Youth and Family Intervention and a Bachelor of Human Services. I currently work for a local before and after school care, so I'm only available evenings from 6:30pm through to 5:30am during the week. However, weekends I'm available at any time. Hi I'm Tara, I'm a young mum of a bubbly and empathetic 2 year old girl. I am able to provide nanny/babysitting across all of North Brisbane. A few things about me is that I love spending time outdoors with my little one, hosting creative activities, cooking, reading and letting her participate in daily activities with me, as I believe this is key in building their independence and confidence as they grow. I hope to provide the same supportive & nurturing environment for your kids. I can also assist with other home duties like meal prepping, cleaning, homework, and school pickups & drop offs or taking them out to the parks/libraries and other fun and safe activities suited for them. my availability is mainly Mon-Thurs but I am flexible to do the occasional last minute help on Fridays-Sundays.
