I’m an experienced childcare and youth support worker with a strong background in supporting children and young people with complex behaviours, disabilities, and diverse needs. I bring over 7 years of hands-on experience in both home, school and community settings, and I’m passionate about creating safe, nurturing, and empowering environments for the children and families I support. I have an ABN, Insurance, Blue Card, Yellow Disability Card, First Aid & CPR, Safe Food Handling. My qualifications are a Certificate 3 in Children's Services, A Certificate 4 in Community Services, a Diploma of Child, Youth and Family Intervention and a Bachelor of Human Services. I currently work for a local before and after school care, so I'm only available evenings from 6:30pm through to 5:30am during the week. However, weekends I'm available at any time. hey there! i’m ella and am here to tell you a bit about my self. i am 18 years old and currently work for queensland health. kids have always had a special place in my heart. i was in the middle of a cert in childcare during school but at that time in my life i had too much going on. i do have a blue card all tho it expires start of next year, i am always happy to renew it, if that is what makes you most comfortable. I also used to be a cleaner, so i am more the happy to do house hold chores, running errands, meal prep. I also have a full registered car and a license and am happy to do drop offs and pick ups, take little ones to other activities. i have recently worked with a family from another app with a 4 year old daughter so i do have a reference if need be! i have grown up my whole life around kids, babies, toddlers. i currently have a 3 year old brother and a 5 month old brother. and when i was younger my sister at the time was also about 1 year of age. when my now 3 year old brother was a baby, i have looked after him for a duration of a weeks at a time. i take him out with me, and same with my most recent baby brother. i even would do the same with my baby sister at the age of 10! mothering and that sense of care has always came so natural to me.
