I’m 24 years old and from Monaghan, Ireland, currently working as a secondary school art teacher. Growing up, I was always surrounded by children as my mother is a childminder, which really shaped who I am today. During my four years in college, I worked in a crèche, gaining valuable experience caring for and supporting children of all ages. I even spent a summer working in Canada, which was an incredible opportunity to learn and grow. Teaching art has always been my dream because it combines my love of creativity with my passion for working with young people every day.

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

My name is Sonakshi, and I am a reliable and caring babysitter. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education, which gives me a strong foundation in child development, care, and safety. Alongside my studies, I have practical experience working with children of various ages as an educator and babysitter. I hold several important certifications that make me a qualified and trustworthy early childhood service provider. First and foremost, I have the HLTAID012 – Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting certificate, which equips me with skills to handle emergencies like asthma attacks, anaphylaxis, choking, and injuries in children. This training is specifically designed for those working in childcare and ensures safety at all times. I also hold a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) for New South Wales, which confirms that I have passed all required background checks and am legally approved to work with children in Australia. Additionally, I have completed the Child Protection Certificate, which trains me to recognize and respond to any signs of abuse or neglect, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for every child. Understanding allergies is crucial when caring for children. I have completed ASCIA Anaphylaxis e-training for Children’s Education and Care, which teaches how to recognize and manage severe allergic reactions (anaphylaxis) effectively and calmly. This course prepares me to act immediately and correctly in case of an emergency, including the use of adrenaline auto-injectors. My qualifications also include the Supporting Physical Development in Early Childhood certificate. This focuses on helping children develop their motor skills safely and effectively through play and guided activities, which supports their overall growth and health. I have completed the Overview of Family Assistance Law and the National Law Course, an Australian Government certificate that familiarizes me with legal frameworks, policies, and ethical responsibilities in childcare settings. This knowledge helps me work in line with government regulations and best practices. Working with children with diverse needs requires specific skills, which I have gained through certificates in Child-Centered and Communication-Focused Practice with Children with Disability and Understanding Child Mental Health and Disability. These courses have trained me to communicate effectively, respect individual differences, and support children with disabilities or mental health challenges in a positive and inclusive way. Furthermore, I hold a Certificate III in Individual Support, which has enhanced my abilities in providing care and emotional support, hygiene, and safe practices—all essential in both aged care and childcare contexts. I am fluent in English and Hindi, which allows me to communicate well with families from different cultural backgrounds. I take pride in being punctual, organized, and responsible, always following instructions carefully and creating a warm, trusting atmosphere for children. My practical experience includes caring for children’s daily needs such as feeding, hygiene, play, homework assistance, and bedtime routines. I also help with light household duties related to childcare, such as meal preparation and tidying. I understand the importance of maintaining a clean and safe environment. In all my work, I focus on building positive relationships with children and parents. I believe a good babysitter not only looks after children’s safety but also supports their emotional well-being, independence, and creativity through age-appropriate activities and attentive care. I am flexible with my availability and can provide care for short or long periods. Families can trust that I bring a professional, compassionate, and knowledgeable approach to every babysitting role. With my combination of formal education, extensive certifications, and hands-on experience, I am confident in my ability to provide high-quality care that supports children’s growth, safety, and happiness.

Hi, I’m Robyn. I’m originally from England, although I have been living here in beautiful Sydney now for almost 10 years (10 years in December). I have been working in the Child Care industry for the last 14.5 years (since Feb 2011); and my job has led me to work across the UK, some places in Europe, the States and the very lovely Australia! I have looked after babies from as young as 4 months old to pre-teens. All ages bring their own magic, but the early years (0-5) has to be my personal favourite! I have a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care; which I obtained in 2019 at TAFE, Petersham, NSW. I also have my police check, working with children’s check, first aid, cpr and covid vaccination records. I am currently working in a role (looking after a baby and a pre-schooler) that will be finishing up at the end of the year (family is going to New Zealand), so would love to find something to transition into come the New Year.

Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Au Pair

Hello, I’m Sandra – originally from the Netherlands and currently living in Portugal. I’m a professionally trained nannny and movement coach with over 15 years of experience, and before that, I was a modern ballet dancer. My background in dance deeply influences my approach to working with children – I bring creativity, body awareness, and playfulness into every day. Since 2010, I’ve been supporting families using principles inspired by Montessori, Waldorf, and homeschooling. I’ve worked with children of all ages and abilities, including those with limited mobility, and still stay in touch with some of the kids I cared for more than 10 years ago. I’m a bit older than most au pairs or nannies, but with that comes a wealth of life experience, genuine interest, patience, and a whole lot of love. Why Australia? Because I’ve never been – and I’d love to explore your culture, connect with your way of life, and experience the creative climate. I’m passionate about nature – forests, the sea, animals, the outdoors – and I’d be thrilled to bring that into my work with your family. I’m available from May onward, depending on how quickly we can arrange the necessary paperwork like visas and flights. I’m open to stays ranging from 3 to 12 months. Looking forward to hearing from you! ( waving hand and smile) Warm regards, Sandra

Dear families, My name is Lilian Sofia Acosta, and I am excited to offer my babysitting services to families in Australia. I recently arrived in Sydney from Colombia to study English and immerse myself in this beautiful culture. While here, I would love to share my passion for caring for children and create a fun, safe, and enriching environment for them. I am a friendly, respectful, and responsible person who genuinely enjoys spending time with children of all ages. Back in Colombia, I worked as an accountant, but in my free time, I gained experience taking care of children, building strong and trusting relationships with them. I believe that every child is unique, and I always strive to create engaging and interactive activities that encourage learning through play. One of the things I would love to offer as a babysitter is the opportunity for your children to be exposed to a new language. Being a native Spanish speaker, I can introduce them to Spanish in a fun and natural way, helping them learn through songs, games, and daily conversations. My goal is not only to take care of your children but also to create meaningful moments that contribute to their growth and happiness.
