I've also spent 1.5 year`s in Chile, volunteering in a childrens' orphanage. Fun, active, kind, reliable and well organised. When I'm looking after children, I like to engage/participant with them rather than looking at my phone (I'm not on social media!). A believer in 'old school' play/education, ‘adventure’, laughter and cuddles (for toddlers). I’m a warm, caring and reliable early childhood professional with 20+ years’ experience in the early childhood education and care sector, including extensive hands-on experience with babies, newborns and infants (feeding, settling, sleep routines and early development). I hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education, a current Working With Children Check, and up-to-date First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, Asthma, and SIDS & Safe Sleep training. I’m also Circle of Security–trained and place a strong focus on building secure, trusting relationships and emotional connection with the children in my care. I have a full driver’s licence, my own car, I’m a non-smoker, and a big animal lover, so I’m very comfortable with pets. I’m also happy to help out with light housework, washing and meal prep.
