Hi, I’m Sara! I’m currently a year 12 student graduating in Nov, and then commencing a bachelor of Early Childhood and Primary Education at UC next year. I’ve been a gymnastics coach for the last 3 years, where I am responsible for 6-10 children aged 4-12 years old. At this club, I’ve learnt how to interact and work with many different children, so would love to further develop my experience. I have volunteered at a local childcare for the last 1.5 years (during my school holidays), mostly working with children aged 5 weeks to 2 years. This has allowed me to learn further about children’s needs, and how to provide an enriching environment for them. I currently have a Working with Vulnerable People’s card, and am First Aid qualified. These accreditations are kept up to date to ensure that those I work with are safe. I am an athlete, so due to sporting commitments, I may be unavailable during some afternoons. If you have any questions or would like to book, feel free to reach out! I have been working with children for over thirty years, working with children ranging from new born to 14 years of age. I have first aid certificate and police check, excellent references and excellent resource and materials. I am able to offer a huge range of craft and activities for every age group. I can cook nutritional meals that are also tasty, from stir fry to roasts. I have always loved my work, it is a wonderful experience.
