Looking for: Part-time

Hello, Available and qualified Newborn Care Nanny. I am available for short term and long term. I am local to Roseville and have excellent local references. I have an absolute love for working with newborns and their parents. I very much enjoy getting to know new families and working alongside parents and their individual family needs. I am happy to work with parents home or autonomously. What ever the family needs. I have been working with newborns for the last 20 years. I work with singletons, multiples and premature babies. My goal with each family is to fit in with the flow of their family life and give parents respite while I give high quality care to their new little ones. On top of my Childcare qualifications, I have trained with Newborn Care Solutions and gained my certificate which gave me a wealth of extra knowledge. I can help parents set up excellent sleep and feed routines (including sleep cues for under 4mo), I can help with gentle sleep conditioning from 4mo onwards or practice attachment style parenting or aware parenting styles if this is preferred. I don’t have one style of Nannying, so am open to continue doing what ever practice suits the family as long as safety if followed. My main priority is always the babies, but while a baby sleeps I will fold and put away laundry, iron, tidy up, unload dishwashers, sterilise baby equipment, change babies bedding etc. A few of my recent roles. 3 days a week with a baby boy who was 10 weeks when I started. I now continue to do Tuesdays with him and he has just turned two. Sole care. Two days a week with a baby boy who was 16 weeks when I started. Mum was diagnosed with PND and needed a calm and reassuring environment. We got baby on an excellent routine and even sleeping through the night. This improved mums confidence incredibly. Mix of sole and shared care. 16 mo girl and mum was still pregnant with the twins so have been there from day 1 for all the newborn loveliness and challenges with the twins. Once twins were 4mo I helped Mum do gentle sleep conditioning with them. I introduced solids via Baby Led Weaning to the twins. I Also helped gentle sleep train toddler for day nap. All 3 girls are now excellent sleepers. Please read on for more info about my history and experience. I am also an experienced Nanny and Childcare worker. I am Mummy to Aria 11yrs and Olivia 9yrs. Having my own children does not impact my work days as my husband stays home on the days I work so is available for anything that may come up with our children. In Oct 2021 I finished up a full time Nanny role (40 hrs a week) to a gorgeous nearly 4yr old boy. I have been his Nanny since he was 8 months old. I love him dearly and treat him as one of my own children. I only finished up this role as we moved from Gymea to Roseville and the travel was too far. For the past nearly 4 years the little ones I Nannied for and me have spent every week day together having fun filled days, Kindy Gym, library time, play groups, beach, parks, begin bright classes, art classes etc I love being out and about and never use TV or screens as a distraction or time filler. I have a Cert lll in Children's services and trained as a Newborn Care Specialist. I have a current WWCC and Police check. I have a current First Aid Certificate with Asthma and Allergy training. I also have lots of personal experience with my own daughter’s Asthma, food allergies (FPIES, type 1 dairy allergy and severe dust and dust mite allergy). I have my own car with two professionally fitted 6mo-8y, 2019 Infasecure Grandeur car seats, as well as a clean drivers licence. All documents, references and CV is available to email upon request. I am very patient, empathetic and caring, I adore being a Mummy and love working with children. I can be contacted anytime via email or mobile to discuss further.

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi there! My name is Grace and I am 27 years old. I’ve been an OOSH educator (and still am) for 5+ years and have experience looking after over 250+ children aged 4-13. I’ve loved interacting with children in this job and am looking to find some more opportunities to do so on. I currently coach at a rock climbing gym and work at the after school care so my availabilities are limited to Wednesday from 5pm and Sundays for 3-4hrs either in the morning or afternoon (negotiable). At my last babysitting family, I looked after 6-year-old twin girls and occasionally their 9 yr old brother, who were an absolute pleasure. I helped them with weekly homework, read to them, did art projects and even took them to do some rock climbing. Unfortunately they moved overseas so I am on the hunt for any new opportunities. I am interested in working with POC families due to my own background, so if that sounds like you, please reach out! I also have 2 years experience as a bouldering/rock climbing coach and can speak basic mandarin. Last year I quit my corporate job in marketing to find my passions, one of them being to look after children. I have my WWCC, First Aid and Police check all up to date. I also have a car and am on my full license. In my spare time, I enjoy being creative, rock climbing and am learning to cook chinese food. I love cats so if you have one that is a bonus! Please contact me if you have any questions.

I am seeking a p/t nanny's role. I am highly educated and in past 7 years, having successfully and happily worked as a nanny and a child care assistant for children and babies. Also, I have been in education for 39 years. I taught at many primary and secondary education for Casual Teaching, part time or full time (secondary schools) teaching in NSW and previously in VIC for about 15 years in total. I worked for Primary OSH Care Services for a few afternoons/week as a p/t or casual Educator during 2016. Similarly, I worked as OSH Assistant at primary schools through the bookings made by Rand Stad Education for some years. Likewise, I was registered for child care services at Expect-A-Star. For past several years, I am also registered at Sydney North Shore Nannies too. By their bookings, I've worked for many children/families or organization on a p/t basis and occasional childcare. I worked for nanny's roles that includes tutoring too for years. Furthermore, I worked for monthly weekend night nanny's role for a family in Lindfield (5 children) for 4 years. That went well too. I enjoy looking after/interacting with children of any ages and babies. I can do housekeeping work (and care for pets!) very well. I have the Work with Children Check No. In my personal life, I have a 41-year-old, very healthy and lovely daughter who is a very successful and highly appreciated professional. I like to apply for the role of a nanny. I am happy to send you my resume, list of 3 referees and 2 references (one is from a Deputy Principal of a primary school). Thank you for your interest!

Dear Sir/Madam, My name is Melia, and I am currently living with friends in Killarney Heights. With seven years of experience in childcare, I have cared for children ranging from 2 to 14 years old, providing them with educational support, creative activities, cooking, and sports. My approach ensures they engage in activities beyond screen time. I have two younger sisters whom I actively cared for, engaging in various activities together. In France, I worked at a leisure center where I organized sports, arts and crafts, and educational workshops, such as themed cooking classes. I am in Australia on a Working Holiday Visa with the goal of improving my English, and I find that working with children is an excellent way to achieve this. As a native French speaker, I can also teach or converse with children in French if preferred. I enjoy making vegetables fun and appealing for children, helping them develop healthy eating habits. I am enthusiastic about contributing to a supportive and engaging environment for children, combining my skills in childcare with a passion for cultural exchange and language development. I look forward to discussing how I can support your family. Sincerely, Melia

Hello! My name is Rachael, and I just recently moved to Sydney from the United States. I'm working on my Master's in Educational Psychology at the University of Sydney, and I could not be more excited. I have approximately 6 years of experience working with children -- I was a private music teacher for 3.5 years (working mostly with children 5-12 y/o), then I moved into a more clinical role as a behavior technician in an Autism clinic in Texas, U.S.A. where I serviced children primarily between the ages of 2-8 y/o in a daycare-like setting. I do have recent CPR training! I learned a lot about children from my work as a behavior technician -- rapport building, creative play, patience, different ways of communicating, and time management. But most importantly, I learned how to see children as autonomous individuals who deserve a voice in decisions related to their well-being. I look forward to meeting you all!
