Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi. I am a mother & child carer with 25+ years experience working with children age birth to 18 years including twins, children with ASD, Downs Syndrome, Asthma, Diabetes, Anaphylaxis, developmentally delayed and my own who are 24, 20 & 9 (only the youngest now at home). I have worked as a nanny both here and in England, in after school care and for 2 years as a Family Day Care provider. Currently I work as a nanny for 3 families and have a regular client list that I babysit for. Looking after children is my passion. I love watching them grow, learn and have fun and this reflects in my care. I enjoy providing fun and engaging activities inside, outside and out in the community and prefer to limit screen time as much as possible. Along with spending time with my son in my spare time, some of the activities I enjoy are reading, going for walks/bike rides, camping, tennis and cooking. I am currently looking to fill my Fridays. I am happy to help out with light housework, cooking or walking the dog. I am reliable and organized and have a full drivers licence and a new car with car and booster seats. Travel is no issue. I work for families from Clifton Hill, Kew, Mitcham, across to Brighton and down the Mornington Peninsula. Great references available. Hope to hear from you soon.

I’m an energetic and caring babysitter who loves spending time with kids! With experience helping children from 15 months to 12 years old, I truly enjoy every age and stage. I’m passionate about helping children learn and grow—whether it’s teaching them new things or just having fun outdoors. I also have experience teaching kids to swim, so I know how to keep activities both safe and enjoyable. Currently studying occupational therapy, I understand how to support each child’s unique needs and love seeing them build confidence. Whether we’re exploring outside, playing games, or learning something new, I’m dedicated to creating a positive, engaging environment for every child. I currently have exams and am then going away… so unavailable until start of term 3

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

I am a single mother of a sixteen year old boy, myself. My alternate stream/(s) of income predominantly involve the instruction and assessment of swimming and water safety skills; first aid; resuscitation/CPR; lifesaving skills; advanced aquatic rescue techniques; and, self-defence. With the majority of those students, being children aged between six months and sixteen years of age. I additionally, also facilitate and run, professional development training courses alongside some Lifeguarding roles. Other relevant previous roles I've held, include being a Voluntary Children's Football/Soccer Coach; Volunteer Lifesaving Patroller, Training and Development Director and Mentor for Nippers and Teens for a Life Saving Club; a Children's Party Host; and have occasionally held science "fun lab" and Martial Arts demonstrations for school students at varying levels and certain community events. I am experienced and comfortable working with, and around children of all ages. Many of which, having had different cultural/religious/ethnical/economical/educational backgrounds, lifestyles and abilities. My experience also includes the successful provision of education/instruction, supervision and guidance of children with physical/medical/intellectual/psychosocial disabilities, learning difficulties, mental illness and those on different levels of the autism spectrum, and even overcoming (to a degree) language barriers over the years spent in the above roles striving to assist every child and their parents being able to set and focus on continuously working towards attaining their own, realistically achievable, short/long-term goals over time. I feel that it is important for children to experience the joy and sense of accomplishment, having actively put in the effort required to achieve each of these goals. I believe it is not only beneficial to the child physically/psychologically/mentally, but have also found it can provide their parents/caregivers with a little bit of comfort and more peace of mind, knowing that with every goal achieved - and the effort applied in doing so, carries with it, an expansion of their child's future potential, and opportunities that await them in years to come.

Looking for: Full-time

I'm Kayla, a 32-year-old nanny with 11 years of experience in bringing smiles, laughs, and love to three families. I’m super excited to be moving back to Melbourne (my home away from home) and am looking for a fantastic family to join and support. I am looking for a full time, ideally live out position, 4-5 days per week. For the past 7 years I have been a member of the Millar family, in Hamilton New Zealand, close to where I grew up. I have helped raise and care for 4 children originally aged 10, 9, 6 and 3 – one boy and three girls. This has been a varied position with structuring the youngest’s earlier years, while navigating the older children's time at school, managing the house including preparing daily meals, groceries, errands and additional support to other family businesses. All of my previous roles (as outlined on CV and covering letter) were full-time, live-out positions, and I pride myself on being organized, reliable, patient, and adaptable. I’m also pretty good at rolling with whatever parenting style works best for the family – if you’ve got a rhythm, I’ll be right there with you! Available start of August, could be sooner for the right role.

Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting

I am an aspiring Primary school teacher, located in Black Rock / Beaumaris. Currently completing a Diploma of Teacher Education Preparation, prior to the Bachelor of Education and am looking for some nannying / babysitting work. I am responsible, active, love to participate in any activities, love kids and animals + cleaning (clean space, clean mind 😉) I currently live at home with one of my sisters, my parents and my beautiful rescue cat. I have never struggled making friends, it comes naturally to me to socialise and establish strong relationships. I have always adored children and again can very easily make great connections. I have had a variety of jobs over the years but mainly working in customer service. Although I was great at conflict resolution, I knew that my career lay somewhere with working with kids. I absolutely love travelling and new experiences hence why I made the decision to go Au Pair in Italy. I loved the opportunity to be immersed in a different culture, while furthering my experience with childcare. I’m a very active person, I played many sports as a kid including netball, surf life saving, basketball, soccer, football, dance and so on. I now do Pilates and Yoga, as well as lots of walking. I still have a passion for dance, as well as any type of physical activity, which I have found beneficial for Babysitting and nannying. AVAILABILITY: I am currently on my University Semester break, available full-time until July 14th. (Once the next semester has began, I will be unavailable for up to 2 mornings or afternoons weekly)

I have extensive experience and knowledge with children of all age groups. I am comfortable and confident with multiple children and meal prep, cleaning and basic household tasks. I have assisted both youth and adults with physical disabilities also. I have experience with neurodivergent children and have studied education support. I am currently studying my diploma of community services through Swinburne, I plan to work for places like Berry Street or other children’s foundations and companies. I have nannied for multiple families across Melbourne and have always created a great experience. I have had other jobs but I always come back to this - I love being able to support and care for children in a more direct and personal manner and in home nanny-ing has always fulfilled that for me. I find this job genuinely rewarding. My biggest achievements in nannying have been creating sleep schedules, helping with attachment issues and bonding with a young child with ASD who had previously struggled with bonding with carers.
