Babysitting and Nanny Jobs in Greenmount WA

We are looking for a friendly, long-term nanny to join our family in September.

Jamie is 16 months old and loves to explore, climb and chat his way through the day.

The role starts at 15 hours a week: 2-5pm on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday afternoons, and 9-12pm Tuesday morning.

As our family needs continue to grow, extra hours may increase.

We live in Mosman Park, where parks, cafés and the library are an easy walk from our home. I am a stay-at-home mum who will be in and out during the day and sometimes join in activities. We have a playful cocker spaniel, Bear, so we need someone comfortable around a medium-sized dog.

Long term, we are also expecting to grow our family, so we will need someone who would be comfortable with a 6+ month baby and a 2.5+ toddler under their care.

We hope to find someone with at least two years’ experience caring for 1-4 year olds with sound knowledge of child safety, a current police check, WWCC and first-aid certification.

Training in early childhood education, a love of outdoor play-based learning and confidence with pets would be wonderful bonuses.

We are seeking our next superstar nanny/babysitter/housekeeper, as our current nanny is leaving after nearly 4 years with us.

As a minimum we need before and after school on Mondays and Tuesdays. Plus there are optional additional hours of light housekeeping (1-3 days a week) and other flexible child care hours too. A car is required for school pickups/drops.

Possibility of live-in position in our self contained granny flat with ocean views.

We are located near the beach in sunny Cottesloe. We are a happy, active family with great references: Mum, Dad and 3 kids: 10y (girl), 8yo and 4yo (boys). We also have a friendly Labrador dog.
