We’re a little family of three – Janai, Andrea and our daughter Giorgia, which she’s five months old, we also have two very friendly dogs who mostly stay outside but like to pop in occasionally. Janai works from home, so she will be around, just looking for some extra help during the week.
We’re based in Brighton, and we’re hoping to find someone who’s available for two half days a week (ideally Tuesdays and Thursdays, but we’re flexible across Monday, Tuesday, Thursday or Friday, with the occasional Wednesday if needed). Hours would be around 3–4 hours between 9:00am and 5:00pm – we can work together on what suits best.
We are looking for a someone short term at the moment as we are going away the full month of October with few trips in November and we need to reconsider our situation when we are back.
You’d be helping with:
Baby care – supporting Giorgia during her awake windows (play, tummy time, stories, nappy changes, burping), settling her to sleep (she still needs some help with this), and assisting with her solids routine (soft food prep, high chair time, clean-up).
Light household duties – folding laundry, tidying baby items, helping with dishes, and occasionally letting the dogs in or out.
