We have a gorgeous neurodivergent boy (autistic/ADHD/Intellectual Disability) who is 6 and developmentally around 1-2 years old. He is nonverbal, very active, and has a lovely happy temperament. He is very quick and we need someone who will be hypervigilant around him to keep him safe. Hello - we are a family of 5 located in Ashburton. We have three beautiful children - 9 y/o girl, 8 y/o boy and a 6 y/o boy - and are looking for a nanny to help with before and after school care on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We would also love to have someone who can stay a few hours while the children are at school to help with general household tasks related to the kids (ie - meal prep, laundry, baking of school snacks, etc).
Specific timing would be 7:15 am to 9:15 am and then from 3 pm to 6 pm. The additional hours to cover general tasks is flexible and we're happy to make the timing suit your schedule.
In the mornings (7:15 - 9:15 am) we are specifically looking for someone to assist with getting the kids ready for school and assist in drop off. There may be time for meal prep or after school snack prep. We are less than a 5 min walk to school so no driving required.
The afternoons (3 pm - 6 pm) will include gathering after-school snacks, assisting in school pick-up (3:30 pm), and taking the kids to activities. We will provide the car for transport and most activities are about a 10 min drive from our home. When home from activities we'll need help getting them showered and some dinner prep.

They have vastly different personalities so you need to be able to speak with them and engage with them differently , creatively and compassionately and sometimes be a mediator ! It will really come down to how well you can interact with them and really how much they gravitate towards you.

We are looking for someone to join us from July ongoing to help with school picks ups and after school care 4 days per week Tues-Friday. Hello, we are looking for a nanny to help with our two boys for two full days a week - Tuesday and Thursday, 8:00am - 6:00pm.
The role will involve looking after our 11 month old all day, doing drop off and pick up of our three year old from kinder (15 minute walk away) and then dinner and bath for both boys.
