Hello! We are a family of five living on a farm near Tylden. We are requiring a babysitter two afternoons a week. Role will include kindergarten pick up, meeting two school aged kids at the bus, afternoon play, feeding some animals, dinner preparation and bath time. I’m looking for a nanny that can take care of my twin boys (that will be turning 1 end of Feb) when I return to full time work from Feb 2026. We are a family of 4 based in Burnside Heights. We are looking for a casual nanny to assist with school drop offs for our 6 year old and helping to care for our 3 month old. This is because Dad works and we also run an online business so we need help with the baby so Mum can call customers, process orders etc. School is a 7 minute walk from our home.

Our ideal candidate would have experience as a nanny or au pair, experienced with newborns, and can assist with sleep and settling. You will enjoy playing or engaging with babies and young children. Early childhood qualifications would be ideal. Also some assistance with light household chores such as folding laundry, tidying and stacking the dishwasher would be a bonus.

We are looking for 2-3 days per week during the school term, hours would typically be 8am-1pm. But occasionally we may require assistance in the afternoons or on weekends or on schools holidays on an ad hoc basis. These would be discussed and agreed in advance based on availability. Our lovely baby sitter is moving, so we’re seeking a reliable babysitter to assist with daycare and school pickup during the week. We live in Pascoe Vale and have two Swaussie (Swedish/Aussie) girls, aged 3 and 6. They enjoy going to the park, animals (we have an elderly dog and a cat), arts and crafts, reading books, and dancing. They’re very entertaining and enjoyable to be around, though they do have occasional meltdowns when it’s time to leave the park. We’re always happy to help if that happens if you struggle. :)

The role involves picking them up at 3 pm from daycare or school two days a week (we can be flexible with it being Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday!). You’ll most likely take them to the park for a hour before we arrive home around 5 pm. They enjoy outdoor activities, but we only have a small yard, so visiting the park would be ideal.

We’re looking for a 20+ female who is confident, creative, playful, honest, safety-minded, reliable, and positive. A personal car is necessary for this role, as the school is about a 10-minute drive from our house. We’ll provide the car seats, but ideally, you’d be comfortable having them in most weeks (we’re happy to reinstall them every once in a while.

We want our kids to get the most out of their childhood, especially through play, and hope to find someone who can help facilitate that. We’ll pay a casual rate and you’ll need insurance. You’ll need to keep phone use to a minimum when you’re with the kids. Besides than that we’re pretty flexible and easy going. We’d hope you could commit to about a year if we’re a good fit. Our current babysitter is happy to be a reference for us.
