Hello! We are Marie & Will and are a half Dutch half Australian family with 2 girls (Pippa of 4 years and Zoë of 15 months). We have just relocated from Amsterdam to Melbourne (Elwood).
We are looking for a nanny:
- 2 days per week (Tuesday and Thursday)
- 8am til 5:30pm (with extension to 6pm if necessary)
One of those days will entail looking after both girls and one of the days will be just looking after Zoë.
We are not looking for someone who cleans the house but some basic tidying at the end of the day and someone who can cook a healthy, vegetarian dinner for the evening would be ideal.
We don't have pets, non-smokers. Marie is originally from the Netherlands and speaks Dutch to the girls. Will is from Australia and speaks English. We generally have a relaxed mind set and like to have fun and not take life too seriously. We live in Elwood, a few streets away from the shops on Ormond road and just opposite of Elsternwick park so getting out of the house to go to the playground or watch the ducks is very easy.
Hello, we are a happy, friendly famly in St Kilda East looking for a helper to assist with our two boys (aged 7 and 9). The days are Tues, Wed and Thurs from 3pm to 5.30pm. Your main job would be to supervise the kids after school activities and help with some light housework. It would involve feeding the kids afternoon tea, helping them with homework, reading with them, prepping dinner and some light housework (washing / folding clothes and emptying the dishwasher). We will be home but need to work from home and need to attend a few important online meetings during the day so we will not be far away if you have questions or need help. I am on maternity leave from teaching so I’ll be around (but not hovering) whilst you are here, however I will be running errands outside of home and sometimes find me doing work for my husband.
You will mostly be looking after our 2.5yo and at times both boys for an hour or so (when I need to leave the house or catch up on sleep).
Our 2.5yo has anaphylaxis to cashews and pistachios and has an allergy to egg. It is vital you have first aid and are confident using an epipen.

We are looking for a wonderful addition to the family to help two busy working parents. We find it difficult to manage all the pick ups with our work schedules, + after school activities. Our current nanny helps us greatly by spending some time helping us to reset the house which makes the week go really smoothly. We'd love to find someone that might be happy to do some light housework (dishes, tidying kids toys) that will help us reset and keep things in order through the week.
Someone with flexibility in schedule would be great as needs may vary a little week to week. One parent travels each week (Thursday and Friday). We can commit to min hours as needed.
