We’re looking for a lovely sitter to care for our busy and curious 1 year old boy one day a week, ideally on Thursdays. One parent will be working from home on this day, so we’ll still be around if needed.
We live on a small property and have a few animals around, so you’ll need to be comfortable with two friendly medium-sized dogs, chickens, and horses. Our little boy absolutely loves being outside and is already a true farm kid at heart — you’ll often find him in the veggie garden eating tomatoes, patting (or chasing!) the chickens, collecting eggs, or riding along in the hay barrow while we feed the horses. He rarely sits still and is always on the move, often heading straight outside through the doggy door!
We’re an easy-going, outdoorsy family and would love someone who is down-to-earth and happy to embrace that lifestyle with us. We usually attend a local playgroup on Thursday mornings and, once everyone is comfortable, you’d be very welcome to take him out to things like this if you feel comfortable.
Simple household help such as loading the dishwasher or wiping the bench would be appreciated, but it’s not essential.
We’d also love to find someone who may be open to the occasional extra babysitting for a night out or weekend here and there.
Most importantly, we’re looking for someone kind, relaxed, and reliable who enjoys being around little ones and the outdoors.
