Looking for a long-term babysitter for our 2-year-old daughter.
Need help four days a week (Mon-Fri), from ~2pm for 4.5 hours. We have a flexibility with the schedule - any 4 working days (Mon-Fri) will work, so can adjust to your current schedule.
Responsibilities include:
- Quality time activities (outdoor walks, reading, educational games)
- Meal preparation and feeding
- Potty training support
- Housekeeping
We're a family of four - my husband and I work in IT, with two daughters aged 2 and 14. Originally from Russia, we've lived in Switzerland, Singapore, and Cyprus before relocating to Melbourne 3 months ago on skilled PR visas.
Our grandmother is currently helping with childcare, but we need regular assistance starting mid-June.
We'd like to begin with a transition period - one visit per week starting from a week of May 19th - so our daughter can get comfortable with you before the regular schedule begins.

They have vastly different personalities so you need to be able to speak with them and engage with them differently , creatively and compassionately and sometimes be a mediator ! It will really come down to how well you can interact with them and really how much they gravitate towards you.
Everything else that I would require is the standard police check , wwc , driving , responsibility and safety etc etc !

We are looking for a nanny Monday-Thursday to pick our 10 yr old up from school in Malvern East and return home to Hawthorn East. A car is essential for this. We are looking for a wonderful addition to the family to help two busy working parents. We find it difficult to manage all the pick ups with our work schedules, + after school activities. Our current nanny helps us greatly by spending some time helping us to reset the house which makes the week go really smoothly. We'd love to find someone that might be happy to do some light housework (dishes, tidying kids toys) that will help us reset and keep things in order through the week.
Someone with flexibility in schedule would be great as needs may vary a little week to week. One parent travels each week (Thursday and Friday). We can commit to min hours as needed.

Looking for a babysitter/mothers helper for 2-3 mornings a week for min 3 hours to assist with caring for our newborn baby girl while I take our toddler to daycare, run errands, do jobs around the house, or sleep.
Your job will be solely to care for the baby, which will involve feeding, burping and changing her, rocking her to sleep, maybe folding some washing. This is mainly done in our lounge room, so you can watch TV at the same time. As she gets older, putting her to sleep in her crib (you can watch her on the monitor) and doing some light household duties, e.g. unloading the dishwasher.
Experience with babies and newborns is essential.
Hourly rate between $30 and $40, commensurate with experience.
