We are seeking a friendly, positive, reliable nanny for our four children. Three are in primary school and we have a 2 year old. We require assistance with afterschool care (minding 2 year old for pickup, helping with homework, some meal prep, helping with children's laundry etc). Our older three are very autonomous; a large part of the job will be caring for our toddler and also just acting as a second pair of hands to manage logistics! Based on your availability there will also be some extra hours each week to mind our 2 year old for various appointments etc. Our children are very friendly and love to play games, dance etc and they love babysitters. We are looking for someone who is helpful and organised! You will occasionally need to do pickup, most likely in our car but it would be good if you had your own car. There will be opportunities for weekend and holiday work as well.

(The lady who has been helping me for many years is going overseas during this time.) my eldest is 15 years old (she is very independent), I have a 12 year old who walks home from school (independent) and it’s the 2 younger girls (9 and 7) who need to be collected from school.
Basic meal prep and house keeping duties also required (laundry)
Tuesday Wednesday Thursday happy for you to start 2-6pm or 3-5:30). If you can just work one or 2 of these days this is ok too.

I have Multiple Sclerosis which provides challenges day to day and I experience quite a bit of fatigue. The key duty is to pick the girls up from school in Kew and drive them home in Northcote (or other activities) so having a full licence and good driving record is really important. In addition to picking them up it would be great if you can assist the girls with homework, crafts, and outdoor play, prepare healthy meals and snacks and undertake some light housekeeping.
