We are seeking a warm, reliable in-home childcare educator to care for our 1-year-old son, in our home in St Kilda while we work from home.
Days and hours: Wednesday to Friday 8 am–4 pm or 9 am–5 pm (can be flexible for the right person)
One parent will work from home every day. You will have support nearby but will primarily care for our son during working hours.
About our baby: Our son is a bright, affectionate, and curious toddler. He has higher medical needs (short bowel syndrome), requiring extra care around feeding, hydration and nappy changes. We will provide full training and clear guidance, and you will not be expected to manage medical procedures.
We are looking for someone who: • Is eligible to work as an in-home childcare educator (or is willing to register with an in-home care agency if applicable) • Has experience with infants and toddlers and is willing to learn about higher-needs care • Is patient, calm, and nurturing, respecting a gentle, responsive parenting approach • Can supervise meals, support naps and nappy changes, maintain a daily schedule and engage in age-appropriate activities • Can manage light tidying related to baby’s care only

Hi Team. We are after someone reliable and caring to help our family. Mum is very busy in a corporate job that travels. Father has more flexibility however equally as busy.
