Babysitting and Nanny Jobs in Moreland, VIC

Sundays 1-4pm and school holidays.

We are looking for a new permanent full-time nanny to provide care primarily to our younger son who is 3.5yrs old. Our current nanny of more than two years is moving onto a new administrative role. We also have an older boy who is 7.5yrs old and attends school full time. The role is for Monday to Friday. Hours are generally 7.30am starts to 5.50-6pm and some flexibility is required as we are both medical professionals. Fridays can be an earlier finish of about 4pm.

Our employment arrangement is a permanent full-time contract with set hourly rate of $40-44/hr (depending on qualifications and experience) plus superannuation, annual and sick leave entitlements.

Our younger son attends a local kinder program Mon-Thurs 9-12 so we would expect some light housework including basic meal prep, light laundry and tidying assistance.

Our older son has intellectual disability, is non-verbal and attends a special school. He has scheduled after-school activities 4 days a week. He is physically healthy.

We need someone keen and willing to learn to support our older son with disability but specific experience is not essential. We are hoping to find someone long term to be part of our support network for our family and would love to chat further to anyone interested in the role. We are also open to finding casual babysitters in the local area for evenings out and weekend events so please get in touch.

We’re looking for a capable, reliable babysitter and family helper to support our busy family with three energetic children aged 6, 8 and 10.

Our ideal person is warm, confident and calm, and can keep energetic kids engaged while setting clear, consistent boundaries. Our 8-year-old daughter is autistic and can find changes and transitions challenging, so patience, flexibility and a calm but firm approach are important. Experience supporting autistic children would be highly valued.

The role includes:

Caring for the children and organising age-appropriate activities.

Helping with routines and supporting positive interactions between siblings.

Preparing children’s lunches and snacks.

Helping with light household tasks, such as putting away clean washing and tidying children’s areas.

We already work with some wonderful helpers, but they don't always have availability We’re looking for someone who follows through, uses their initiative and communicates well. We’d love to find someone who can build a trusting, ongoing relationship with our children.

Our names are Annika and Yuria and we are looking to find someone to care for my daughter Anya (17 months) and Yuria's son, Rio (also 17 months) on an ongoing basis on a Monday mornings around 9-12/12.30
Every week it will be Anya and then every second week Rio will join.
For the weeks it’s just Anya it will be $35 an hour and then $50 when caring for both of them.
Depending on how it goes there will be potential for another few hours in the next couple of months.
I live in Brunswick and Yuria and Rio are in Preston.
