Looking for a warm, patient, and most of all energetic babysitter with experience in disability. We have a gorgeous neurodivergent boy (autistic/ADHD/Intellectual Disability) who is 6 and developmentally around 1-2 years old. He is nonverbal, very active, and has a lovely happy temperament. He loves movement and water so any sort of water play or movement-based activities keep him entertained and regulated. He is very quick and we need someone who will be hypervigilant around him to keep him safe. We are basically needing an extra pair of hands a few times a week (Mon/Wed/Fri) 3-6pm during the school term with longer shifts during the school holidays. It would involve picking him up from school, minding him at home, nappy changes, doing some therapy exercises, and/or taking him out to the park. He has no sense of danger so does require constant following and supervision.

Hello - we are a family of 5 located in Ashburton. We have three beautiful children - 9 y/o girl, 8 y/o boy and a 6 y/o boy - and are looking for a nanny to help with before and after school care on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We would also love to have someone who can stay a few hours while the children are at school to help with general household tasks related to the kids (ie - meal prep, laundry, baking of school snacks, etc).
Specific timing would be 7:15 am to 9:15 am and then from 3 pm to 6 pm. The additional hours to cover general tasks is flexible and we're happy to make the timing suit your schedule.
In the mornings (7:15 - 9:15 am) we are specifically looking for someone to assist with getting the kids ready for school and assist in drop off. There may be time for meal prep or after school snack prep. We are less than a 5 min walk to school so no driving required.
The afternoons (3 pm - 6 pm) will include gathering after-school snacks, assisting in school pick-up (3:30 pm), and taking the kids to activities. Looking for someone with experience to care for 2 children aged 3.5years (girl) and 5years (boy) after school. Hours are Monday Tuesday Wednesday Friday from 3pm to 6pm. Role involves collecting from school at 3pm and walking them home 400m making the kids their dinner and doing lunchboxes for the next day. And having fun! One day a week involves walking home via a local tennis lesson so the kids can have their lesson for half an hour on the way home.
We are hoping for someone who has a car as next year the 5yo is going to go to a school driving distance away so the afternoon will be collecting the 2 from two schools by car and driving them home rather than walking.
