We are looking for a casual babysitter who can look after our two girls (currently aged 4 and 6 years) on weekends at the moment. Eventually (in 2026) we would like someone who could pick them up from school on a few afternoons a week and bring them home, let them play/play with them, and get dinner sorted. This will be a slow start, because for now it would be just babysitting casually at night or during the day until it is more of a nanny role in 2026.
We are a young family of 5. I have a set of 13 month old twins, girl and boy and a 2year old girl that is currently in daycare for most of the day. I am having some health issues at the moment and my elderly parents are caring for the twins. However they are not coping with the situation anymore and we need extra help. My husband goes to.work at 530am which is when my mother comes and takes over care. We would need help from around 6am onwards for as much of the day as possible. The twins sleep 2 times a day. Hello - we are a family of 5 located in Ashburton. We have three beautiful children - 9 y/o girl, 8 y/o boy and a 6 y/o boy - and are looking for a nanny to help with before and after school care on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We would also love to have someone who can stay a few hours while the children are at school to help with general household tasks related to the kids (ie - meal prep, laundry, baking of school snacks, etc).
Specific timing would be 7:15 am to 9:15 am and then from 3 pm to 6 pm. The additional hours to cover general tasks is flexible and we're happy to make the timing suit your schedule.
In the mornings (7:15 - 9:15 am) we are specifically looking for someone to assist with getting the kids ready for school and assist in drop off. There may be time for meal prep or after school snack prep. We are less than a 5 min walk to school so no driving required.
The afternoons (3 pm - 6 pm) will include gathering after-school snacks, assisting in school pick-up (3:30 pm), and taking the kids to activities. We will provide the car for transport and most activities are about a 10 min drive from our home. When home from activities we'll need help getting them showered and some dinner prep.

Looking for a babysitter/mothers helper for 2-3 mornings a week for min 3 hours to assist with caring for our newborn baby girl while I take our toddler to daycare, run errands, do jobs around the house, or sleep.
Your job will be solely to care for the baby, which will involve feeding, burping and changing her, rocking her to sleep, maybe folding some washing. This is mainly done in our lounge room, so you can watch TV at the same time. As she gets older, putting her to sleep in her crib (you can watch her on the monitor) and doing some light household duties, e.g. unloading the dishwasher.
Experience with babies and newborns is essential.
Hourly rate between $30 and $40, commensurate with experience.

We specially need “ you “ most time to help with pickup in schools, and sent to kids activities when there is one. The date and time can varies, but basically is from 3:00pm-6:30 pm time frame during week days and potentially in weekends sometime. You do need to have your own car with drive license, we can supply baby seats or seat booster.
Looking for a warm, patient, and most of all energetic babysitter with experience in disability. We have a gorgeous neurodivergent boy (autistic/ADHD/Intellectual Disability) who is 6 and developmentally around 1-2 years old. He is nonverbal, very active, and has a lovely happy temperament. He loves movement and water so any sort of water play or movement-based activities keep him entertained and regulated. He is very quick and we need someone who will be hypervigilant around him to keep him safe. We are basically needing an extra pair of hands a few times a week (Mon/Wed/Fri) 3-6pm during the school term with longer shifts during the school holidays. It would involve picking him up from school, minding him at home, nappy changes, doing some therapy exercises, and/or taking him out to the park. He has no sense of danger so does require constant following and supervision.
