We believe it takes a village to raise a child, and having all family in other parts of the state and the country, we need some extra support with the two children in our care after school. The kids are bubbly, engaged and in a great routine.
The successful candidate will be able to facilitate school pick up, afternoon tea, some after school commitments (including dance, choir etc), get dinner started on occasion ... and some supervision of homework will be necessary!
We're very flexible re the role - it's more important we find the right person and fit for our home. Some casual babysitting may also be required.
Please note: We are currently living in the CBD during our renovation, so there's a little more travel at the moment (which we can negotiate a travel allowance), but back into Caulfield North from beginning of April.

We are a family of four, looking for an experienced infant nanny for TWO weekdays (can be flexible which days) per week of care for our baby daughter. We live only a few minutes from the school and very close to the beach and parks, so after school activities can be playing outdoors, arts and crafts or baking. Wednesday we also need someone who is happy to take them to after school sport.
We also require someone who can serve them dinner and get them ready for bed, and while we don't expect any housecleaning, general tidy or unpacking their lunchboxes, or packing lunches for the next day is wonderfully helpful!
The most important thing for us is reliability as we both have very busy jobs and can't afford to have someone who doesn't communicate well, or pulls out of shifts at short notice.

Seeking babysitter for weeknight evenings, if you can also do a few Saturday mornings that'd be wonderful but not essential. Somewhat flexible on days/hours.
Caring for two boys, 5 & 7: play, dinner (ready to eat), bedtime routine (no bath, just pj's and brush teeth) etc. Very easy and mostly they play independently or do homework, you will simply keep an eye on them while hubby and I work - we will be around for any q's etc.
Ideally you will work Thursday and/or Tuesday evenings, 5 - 7:30 with no housework, or if you're willing to do light housework 3:45 - 7:15.
If you are interested in doing housework, it will be mostly: packing away toys, vacuum living/play areas, occasional laundry folding/pack, wipe down kitchen, wipe flat surfaces/mirrors, no heavy cleaning since we have a regular cleaner. But with two boys the house always gets messy.

With our two boys now in Grade 2 and 5, we are looking for a superstar house-helper, somewhere between a housekeeper and a nanny.
After collecting the children from school/sport, main duties would be folding washing, preparing evening meal, one 'bigger job' per week (like clean windows or change sheets or wipe out fridge), perhaps a bit of ironing or prepping lunchbox snacks or some local errands. The boys have their own chores to help contribute, and need an adult nearby to ask, should they need help with homework but otherwise are pretty self-sufficient.

What your day would look like:
Start at 3:15pm and pick up after school snacks / sports equipment then depending on the day either walk or drive our car up to school to pickup the kids and take them to after school activities (Wednesday soccer, Thursday tennis). Then, home after sport, and start dinner.
The boys are very energetic and love sport, music, jumping on their trampoline, Lego and transformers.

We just had a newborn and are getting it circumcised.
Looking for a nanny who has specifically dealt with the "aftermath" of a circumcision, i.e. reapplying the bandages/checking everythings gone fine.
And subsequent to that further nannying/au pair work granted it all goes well.
