We both work for ourselves and have recently relocated back to Adelaide from interstate for our child to start school in Reception.
We are looking for someone who is interested in long term care and who will build a relationship with our son.
We are looking for a nanny / babysitter to assist with our energetic healthy and generally pretty fun 5 year old son. We are presently looking for care on 3-4 weekdays afterschool from around 3pm until 6.30pm-7pm and sometimes in the evening/nights. He typically enjoys having a babysitter. He starts reception in 2026.
Midweek, we seek a person to pick our son up from school. School is a short walk from our house. Please give him a small afternoon tea (or he won’t eat dinner!) and if the weather is good play ball outside at our house or go to a park or do a craft activity or read a book. We may enrol him in after school activities later in 2026 but, at this stage, not term 1-2. We typically will leave ingredients for dinner which he has at around 5.30pm. Then bath, if possible.
At night, occasionally we might go out or have our own sporting commitments and then we also need a person to put him to bed and look after him while asleep.
He is a healthy happy kid. He likes puzzles, Lego, riding his bike (still learning), scooter, playing with any kind of ball, and books. He also has a home made “craft station” which we are rebuilding.
Happy to answer any questions. If that sounds okay, please message me and provide any references to me please.
