We are looking for a caring, reliable and energetic native English-speaking babysitter to spend time with our two young children: a 3-year-old daughter and a 1.5-year-old son.
The primary focus of this role is not only childcare, but also helping the children develop their English language skills through play, conversation, reading, singing and other age-appropriate activities.
We already have another helper who speaks Mandarin, so we are specifically seeking someone who can provide a natural English-speaking environment for the children.
Responsibilities:
Engage the children in play-based learning and activities
Read books, sing songs and encourage conversation in English
Accompany the children on walks, library visits and outdoor activities
Assist with basic childcare duties during working hours
Work cooperatively with our existing helper
Requirements:
Native English speaker
Experience caring for young children preferred
Warm, patient and enthusiastic personality
Reliable and responsible
Current Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain one)
Hours: Flexible, to be discussed
