We are looking for a warm, nurturing, and patient nanny to spend time with our daughter, who is 2 years and 3 months old. She is a bubbly, curious, and adventurous little girl who loves exploring, creating, and learning through play.
Our family values the Montessori and Steiner approaches to early childhood education, so we would love to find someone who shares a similar philosophy and enjoys fostering creativity, independence, and a connection with nature.
The role is approximately 5–6 hours per week, with availability needed on Monday afternoons and Thursday mornings. Mum will be at home studying during these hours.
Responsibilities include:
• Engaging in playful, child-led activities
• Arts and crafts, including painting and drawing
• Music, singing, and dancing activities
• Playground visits and outdoor exploration
• Attending playgroups and other age-appropriate community activities
• Regular visits to the local library
• Supporting learning and development through Montessori- and Steiner-inspired activities
• Creating fun and enriching indoor and outdoor experiences
• Occasional light meal and lunchbox preparation
We are hoping to find someone who feels like a natural extension of our family and is looking to build a long-term relationship with us. While the role currently offers 5–6 hours per week, there may be opportunities for additional hours in the future as our family's needs grow.
We would love to hear from someone who genuinely enjoys working with young children, brings a calm and positive presence, and can create a warm, engaging environment where our daughter can thrive.
