Babysitting and Nanny Jobs in Wanora QLD

Hello!

We are looking for someone to care for our young kids for the duration of my sisters wedding.
We are from Melbourne and flying up to Brisbane on the Friday morning for a Saturday wedding, and would like to find someone that can come and spend a couple hours with us at the house on the Friday to help get our kids settled in and adjusted, and then return on the Saturday from 1pm (approx) to 11pm.

Our littles will be 4y - boy(essentially 5 at time of job) and 20 months old - girl.
We would require you to set the kids up for afternoon snacks and dinner that have been pre-prepared, and settled in for bed.
Minimal tidying of just the kids dishes.

Due to being interstate, I would love to chat to you via zoom or video call to get to know you a little bit.

Job dates are:
Friday 30th October 2026 (approx 1.5-2 hours in the evening to meet the kids and help them get settled into holiday house)
Saturday 31st October 2026 - approx 2pm -11.30pm

We are looking for a nanny to play with our four children, ages 15 months (G), 5 years (B), 6 years (B) and 8 years (B). The older three children are homeschooled, highly independent and don't need much direction or help. It's the 15 month old who needs your supervision!

You will not need to facilitate any home learning during your time, but the 5 year old may ask you to do a reader with him! The boys love playing board games, dress ups, tag, trampolining, drawing, lego, duplo, cubby building, minecraft, NS games like mario cart/sports, cooking/baking, cardboard craft (makedo), making movies, going to the local park (we have three within walking distance), doing puzzles (up to a 500 piece!), soccer, etc. The littlest lady loves to appear to do whatever the boys are doing, cuddling them when they are sad, looking after her baby Dorie, watching and dancing with DannyGo!, reading books upside down, being outside (a big one!), and signing 'more' for delicious food.

I will be home working on my postgraduate studies upstairs and can assist when you need help.

I am looking for one to two day a weeks help, for 4-5 hours. The hours would most likely be 8 - 12, or 9 - 1, give or take. The best day for us would be a Tuesday or Thursday, but we are flexible. We will not need daytime help during the school holidays (husband is a school teacher), but there will be opportunities for late afternoon/evening work for date nights 🙂

You are not expected to do any housework, cleaning, washing or anything like that. It would be helpful if you made sure the boys cleaned up their current mess, before a new mess is made (like pack up the lego, before we get colouring stuff out). The boys are great with this, they just need the reminder. Your hours may fall over morning tea and lunch, if so, the boys can make their own lunch with some assistance and the toddler has a variety of lunch options. You are also most welcome to feed yourself at all mealtimes too.

All the children have no allergies, no diagnosis', they're honestly just lovely kids to be around. I mostly need the help because of the beautiful 15 month old (so that I can study), the boys otherwise can do everything for themselves.

We have a smoke and pet free home.
