Hi there, we are looking for a part time babysitter /nanny two days a week on an ongoing basis and possibly a regular shift on the weekend too. Mainly to support meal times, bath time, homework/activities as needed and being an extra pair of hands for us in those hectic evenings.
We definitely need Mondays afternoon e.g from 2.30-6.30pm) and one other day ideally Thursday evening (e,g 4.30-7.30) but can be flexible on the second day. We can work with you to come up with the best schedule.
A bit about us: we are a busy family with three girls with two kids at primary school. 2021 was a year of stress and change for our family as I was diagnosed with breast cancer but after chemo and surgery I can thankfully say that I’m cancer free. The girls have shown amazing resilience in the past 6 months as we have dealt with our new normal. We have a bit of a road ahead with some ongoing treatment and are looking for some home support as my husband transitions back to full time work (I work part time and am self employed but I am on leave for the next few months as I finish treatment). Look forward to welcoming you to our home!
Hi, our daughter starts prep this year and I had been really organized and sorted nanny arrangements before Christmas but sadly these plans have fallen through.
We are a happy and calm family and would welcome you into our lives as a member of our family. We are also a sensible but cautious family in our current approach to COVID and would appreciate someone with the same attitude.
Pick up from school and our daughter has some after school activities that will form part of the week but otherwise will be based at home.
We’d love someone focused on our child’s development and not on screens.
Some light meal prep would be helpful.
Can’t wait to meet you!

Boys are really good kids and old enough to be relatively easy just really need assistance with homework and generally taking care of them after school. NEW! Nanny for two kids, 6 and 3 years old (New Farm)
New Farm, QLD

Job Details: Part-time
We are looking for a loving nanny to help us with our two children -- Jack (6 years) and Matilda (3 years).
This year, Jack starts Grade One at New Farm State School and Matilda in Kindergarten. We are after a nanny who can help out in the mornings (breakfast and drop-offs) and in the afternoons (pick-ups, after school activities, errands (e.g. food shopping), helping with school work / learning, healthy dinners and ready for bed), together with light cleaning (we have a cleaner so only light house duties). We are after a nanny who always puts safety first, who is loving, kind, values learning, fun, creative and energetic. Having a car is essential for drop-offs and pick-ups. We think our kids are pretty great, but we are obviously biased!
As our current nanny of three years has just finished up to commence full time teaching, we are looking for this position to start as possible.
We can discuss exact start and finish times via email / phone (0436814947) and can connect you to our amazing current nanny for references.
Hi, we are a busy family with 3 children. We require before and after school care 3 days/week. Our children are aged 13, 12 and 10. Mostly this job will entail dropping off and picking up our 10yo daughter from school and supervising her until we get home from work. Some basic meal prep will be required and supervision of homework. The older children are mostly independent. There are also some after school activities to take the children to. Hours required are 0645-0845am and 3-6pm on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
I work full-time for the Queensland Art Gallery / GOMA and am looking for an experienced au pair/ live-in nanny to help me with two gorgeous boys, Felix (10) and Dash (7), and to live with the three of us as part of our family in a beautiful home in New Farm. I am looking for a commitment of 30 hours per week, starting in January 2022 in return for rent + food + bills, wifi, Netflix etc (valued at $1800/month) + $300 cash/week. The role is focused on looking after the boys from 3pm - 7pm/8pm most weekdays and occasional babysitting during evenings or weekend nannying: picking them up from school, preparing their meals, assisting with homework, some tidying up/light housework (we have a cleaner for the heavy stuff), some babysitting. I can be flexible around studying/other commitments for the right person. There may also be additional hours + payment when I am travelling for work.
You will have your own room, WC/toilet and private entrance in a beautiful home in New Farm, and will be made to feel part of our family. We are close to cafes, cinemas, excellent James St shopping, Teneriffe and New Farm parks, Fortitude Valley, QUT, local bus routes and many other amenities.
What I am looking for in an au-pair / live-in nanny;
- Excellent spoken English but another language also very welcome;
- Neat and tidy, responsible, reliable, honest, open-minded and friendly
- A professional attitude to the role and a willingness to be flexible
- Someone who enjoys cooking healthy, wholesome food and is a non-smoker
- Social person who loves engaging children and having fun
- Has some references, Working with Children check, a driver's license and (ideally) a first aid certificate
Please get in touch if you think you might be a good fit with our family!
We are a family of 5 living on the Northside of Brisbane (Gordon Park). We have three gorgeous little girls, Sienna (4yrs) and twins Zara & Ella (2 yrs).
We are looking for a nanny to assist our family with the same fixed schedule every week as follows:
Depending on YOUR availability EITHER:
Wed 1.30pm – 6.30pm
Thurs 1.30pm – 6.30pm
Fri 7.00am - 6.30pm
Wed 1.30pm – 7pm
Thurs 1.30pm – 7pm
Fri 1.30pm – 6.30pm
On Wednesdays and Thursdays the role would involve picking up our 4 year old from Kindy at 2.30pm, then picking up the twins from daycare at around 4/4.30pm and giving the girls dinner, baths and getting them ready for bed. On Fridays, depending on your availability, it would be a full day with the twins whilst doing Kindy drop-off and pick-up with our 4 year old. If you are interested in the role, but aren't available for a full day on Friday, we currently have the option of putting the twins in daycare on a Friday, in which case the routine would be the same as Wed/Thurs.
We are looking for:
- Someone with a genuine love of and experience with working with toddlers
- Registered blue card
- Fully vaccinated
- Current first aid
- Drivers Licence required (we will supply vehicle)
- Someone with a can-do attitude and initiative who will chip in and help out with what needs to be done, be it cooking or preparing meals for the kids, packing kindy lunches, children’s laundry and general tidying and cleaning up.
- At least 2 references or referees
We want someone who genuinely enjoys being with small children and has the energy to have fun with them and keep them safe. Must be confident in dealing with multiple small children at once!
We would love someone who can help us out into the future so that we can ensure some stability for our girls.
We are hoping for someone who can start around the end of February.
If you think this role sounds well suited to you, we would absolutely love to hear from you. x
We are looking for someone on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons to look after 3 kids 10 - 14 years. Mostly this is job entails driving kids to extracurricular activities, getting some dinner on and some washing and folding. Kids are well behaved, studious and reasonably independent. Petrol allowance provided.
We're looking for some help in the afternoons each weekday (i.e. 3-7pm) for around 15-20h/week.
You'd be helping with our boys (5 & 6), meals (afternoon snack & dinner prep) and general help. We have our two boys, as well as a 15 yr old daughter (just starting year 10) and my wife is pregnant.. with twins (so you can guess why we need some help :D).
This would be something ongoing (6m+) and while we don't need school pickups just yet, that may change in the future, so own car would be ideal.
If you'd like some further details, please reach out.

Hi prospective carer
I have a low maintenance 10 year old who needs someone to collect her from school and drive her to her Wednesday afternoon extra curricular activity. It is an 18min (18km) journey but will be paid for a full hour so as to allow for the return journey for the successful carer. Reliability is an absolute must. Clean driving record required, phone use whilst driving will not be tolerated. Other children in the car is acceptable but no non-vetted adults. Extra afternoons may be available on occasion as well, pending on carer availability of course.
We are looking for a fun and active nanny to do the after school pick up routine. This involves collecting boys (7 and 8) from school and taking them to after school activities, appointments, homework, dinner, showers, folding boys washing and uniforms ironed. We also have a gorgeous therapy dog who would love you to walk him or throw his ball.
A car and license are essential.
Ideally you would be able to cover Monday to Thursday, but happy to negotiate for right candidate.
Rate based on experience.
