Babysitting and Nanny Jobs in Wardrop Valley NSW

Hello,

I'm looking for a friendly, caring person to look after my two sons who are 3 and 5 years old.

During the week, I'm looking for someone to look after my 3-year-old either on a Tuesday or Thursday morning from 8am-12.30/1pm. Occasional casual evening babysitting.

On the weekend I'm pretty flexible and am looking for someone on a regular basis to work at least 4 hours, but the time may change (I'm happy to work it out between us as we go and give you as much notice as possible). I'm looking for either a Saturday or Sunday morning (9am-1pm) and the occasional Saturday evening instead of a morning.

About us:
I am a solo parent to my two little boys. The boys are friendly and funny and full of energy and love to play at home and also enjoy getting out to the playground (I have car seats you can put in your car).

My 5 year old is at school during the week. My 3 year old is currently seeing an OT for support for potential ASD. He is very clever, chatty and funny, but has trouble regulating his big feelings which can sometimes lead to meltdowns. We are continuing to work on strategies to support him, and I'd love a babysitter who is kind and patient, with an awareness of neurodivergence.

Your role:
playing with the boys (or just my 3 yr old)
making simple snacks, although I'll often prepare things/have things ready.
bedtime routine if babysitting during the evening
if you have a moment while the boys are occupied- unloading the dishwasher or picking up toys

We still have our lovely babysitter that we've had for a few years now, however I'm looking for someone else while they are unavailable for a few months, but with the intent of keeping you on long term.

We are located in Tweed Heads South.

We’re a family based in Miami. I’m Lani (33), my husband Tim (35), our daughter Remi (14 months old) and our friendly Irish Setter dog Mango (4).

We’re looking for a warm, reliable nanny to care for Remi one day a week and are hoping to find someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with toddlers and would love to become a familiar part of our family long term.

About the role
* One regular weekday each week either a Monday or Thursday (flexible on the start date)
* If Monday it will be 6:30am-3:30pm, if Thursday it will be 8.30am-5.30pm
* Some weeks may be two days instead of one
* Occasional Friday or Saturday evening babysitting would be a bonus!
* Preparing healthy meals and snacks so we're looking for someone who enjoys cooking nutritious food for little ones. Would also love some meals prepped and frozen for other days!
* Getting out and about with her, whether that's trips to the park, walks, the library, playgroups or other age appropriate activities.
* Cleaning up after play and meals

Remi is a happy little girl who has only just started walking. She loves music, dancing, books, being outdoors and playing with Mango. She’s at such a fun age, and we’re looking for someone who loves getting out and about with her, whether that’s trips to the park, walks, the library, playgroups or other age appropriate activities.

We’d love someone who enjoys planning fun, creative play at home too, whether that’s sensory play, arts and crafts, reading together, singing songs or anything else that encourages her curiosity and development.

Preparing healthy meals and snacks for Remi will also be part of the role, so we’re looking for someone who enjoys cooking nutritious food for little ones.

We’re hoping to find someone who is:

* Reliable and punctual
* Experienced with 1-2 year olds
* Happy to plan outings and age appropriate activities
* Enjoys creative, hands on play
* Happy to prepare healthy meals and snacks for Remi and clean up afterwards
* Comfortable around dogs
* Has a WWC (Blue Card), First Aid & CPR (or is willing to obtain them)
* Looking for a long term position
