We’re on the lookout for enthusiastic and caring Casual Kids Club Assistants to join our team at this year’s MDDA Annual Family Retreat! If you love working with kids and are up for a fun-filled weekend of games, laughter, and activities — we’d love to hear from you!

About the Retreat
The MDDA Family Retreat is a special weekend that brings together the IEM (Inborn Errors of Metabolism) community from all over Australia. Families of all ages attend — from newly diagnosed little ones to adults — for a weekend of connection, support, and fun.

This is a casual, one-off weekend role that’s perfect for anyone who enjoys working with children and being part of a meaningful community event.

📍 Location: Fairmont Resort, Blue Mountains, NSW
📅 Dates: Friday 21 – Sunday 23 November, 2025
🕒 Hours:

Friday 21st: 12:30pm – 6:00pm (evening baby sitting if available)
Saturday 22nd: 8:00am – 4:00pm (evening baby sitting if available)
Sunday 23rd: 8:00am – 12:30pm

Your Role

Support our Kids Club leaders to supervise and engage children aged 3–16 years.

Get involved in fun games, creative activities, and group sessions.

Help run on-site adventures such as ice skating, the toboggan slide, and more!

What We’re Looking For

Friendly, energetic, and patient individuals.

A passion for working with kids of all ages.

A hands-on, can-do attitude and a sense of fun!
