We are a family of 4 based in Adamstown Heights. We own our own small business that is craving for more of our attention. A nanny to care for our 2 year old boy will be a blessing! Our 9 year old is in primary school so you’ll be a sole carer for boy.

We follow child led and attached parenting yet have a regular routine with some fluidity. We have a simple and organic way of life and highly value the environment and our surroundings, which reflects in our parenting ethos. Our daughter attends fhe local steiner school which perfrftl aligns with our lifestlye. Our little boy is playful, fun and an absolute joy to hang out with (no mamma bias haha)!
At present we are looking for three days and have some amount of flexibility with the choice of days and hours, which are unlikely to exceed 5:30pm generally. There is scope for this to continue on to 4 days a week if it suits you and us.
Your day would mostly include child care and child related chores, with some assistance in daily domestic chores if and when time permits. Nature trails, outdoor play, park/beach visite, walks etc and indoor acitvites including crestive play, dance and music and similar afe appropriate activities would make his routime.

Previous Nannying experience required an some flexibility with stsrt dates possoble.

Our current nanny has had a family emergency and will need to leave us in a couple of weeks to help her family. So we are looking for a nanny to help look after our nearly 2 and 4 year old boys after daycare from Monday to Friday 4:30-7:30pm, starting asap.

This involves picking them up from daycare (5min drive, we have a car that is used for this), looking after/playing with the boys in the afternoon, giving them dinner, and helping my husband Dave with their bath time and bedtime routine in the evenings. Light household duties such as feeding the small dog, putting on a load of the boys’ clothes to wash midweek and helping to tidy up after the boys post breakfast/dinner/play to keep the place tidy is also needed.

We are looking for someone that can commit to a long term role.

Can provide reference from our current nanny if needed.

The role involves collecting the children from school, driving them back to our home in Cliftleigh, and supervising them until 5- 530 PM.

About us:
mum, grandma and two little girls aged 4 and nearly 2. We’ll be moving to the Willow Vale area (near Gerrigong) around mid May. We will be living on a small farm that has cows, creeks and a little rainforest. Lots of opportunities for outdoor fun!

We are a screen free family excluding the TV, both girls are very active and engaged. As a whole we are easy going and love to have fun! Always open to suggestions of fun activities :)


About our ideal candidate:
Ideally you’ll have some experience with children, but I am happy to help the right person learn the ropes also. Responsible and happy to chip in and use your initiative. Likes animals and enjoyed being outside. Happy to come along on family day trips here and there to provide an extra set of hands.
Would like you to keep your phone away whilst you are with the children :)


About the position:
We will be looking for someone to help care for our two girls two days a week. There is also the possibility of an extra day here and there, and also casual evenings or weekends. We will provide a car for all child related activities and errands. Mum will be home most of the time so can step in and assist if needed.
You’d mostly be doing activities (colouring, papercrafts, outdoor adventures and games), helping get the children ready for outings, taking them to the park, library etc, helping with preparing and packing the children’s food and baths at the end of the day. You’ll have the freedom and flexibility to plan and suggest outings and activities, or to try making new foods etc.
