Our son is a funny, highly intelligent and warm hearted teenager who experiences daily challenges due to his ASD and ADHD diagnosis. He is highly verbal and often enjoys in depth conversations. He can at times become highly anxious and require support to manage his concerns. He has no physical disabilities. Essentially, our son requires help with daily organisation, meal preparation and outdoor activities. He attends school via correspondence and requires significant support in managing his daily tasks and overall school workload including assessments. He needs assistance and supervision when logging on for exams.
Our son is a fussy eater who is working towards independence when making meals, therefore meal preparation is required as well as teaching our son how to cook his own food. Daily exercise is critical, however he often resists this and so a supportive approach is best here.
Light household cleaning will be required such as cleaning dishes from the day, putting out a load of washing and ensuring our son's room is tidy. At the end of the day, the living area of the home needs to be left tidy.

We are a family of 5 in Hunters Hill with 3 children aged 8,6 and 3 who are in school and pre-school. We are looking for help with collections and drops-offs as well as after school care and taking the kids to after school sport. We are looking for care for somebody to collect our two little boys aged 5 and 6 from their respective school/preschool on Wednesdays and Thursdays and stay with them until 6pm when we get home from work!
We are in North Balgowlah and the hours would be:
- 3pm - 6pm, Wednesdays and Thursdays (we could alternatively make that Tuesdays and Wednesdays if works better for you)
- 9-12pm on Fridays, looking after two 5 year olds (but this part is negotiable! The main thing we need is after school help on Wednesday and Thursday).
Both schools are a few mins drive away from our home, but too far for the boys to walk so a driver's licence and car is essential.
There would also be additional work available on school holidays and some ad hoc weekend babysitting as well.
