We are a family of 4 based in Adamstown Heights. We own our own small business that is craving for more of our attention. A nanny to care for our 2 year old boy will be a blessing! Our 9 year old is in primary school so you’ll be a sole carer for boy.

We follow child led and attached parenting yet have a regular routine with some fluidity. We have a simple and organic way of life and highly value the environment and our surroundings, which reflects in our parenting ethos. Our daughter attends fhe local steiner school which perfrftl aligns with our lifestlye. Our little boy is playful, fun and an absolute joy to hang out with (no mamma bias haha)!
At present we are looking for three days and have some amount of flexibility with the choice of days and hours, which are unlikely to exceed 5:30pm generally. There is scope for this to continue on to 4 days a week if it suits you and us.
Your day would mostly include child care and child related chores, with some assistance in daily domestic chores if and when time permits. Nature trails, outdoor play, park/beach visite, walks etc and indoor acitvites including crestive play, dance and music and similar afe appropriate activities would make his routime.

Previous Nannying experience required an some flexibility with stsrt dates possoble.

Nanny/House Manager needed, 20hrs/week, New Lambton

Hi, our awesome Nanny is leaving to commence full time work so we need to find a replacement Nanny to help look after our family.

We have 3 kids, a 14 year old boy, a 12 year old boy and a 9 year old girl, all at school.

We need help mainly in the mornings and afternoons. On average the hours required would be around 20 hours a week. To make things easier for you, we can guarantee 40 hours of pay over a fortnight, so there is some certainty. Occasionally I am not working and I can do the morning but usually we will always need a hand in the afternoon.

We need a nanny but also, a household manager, someone who can run the home whilst we are busy at work.

We need you to have a reliable car to transport the children in, we will provide an appropriate car seat. Ideally, you would be happy to mainly leave this in your car.

We usually need you from around 7 in the morning, to help get the kids up in the morning, motivate them to get ready for school, do their morning chores, and then drop them off to school. In the morning we also need help with household tasks, such as putting on and hanging out the washing, and starting some meal prep for dinner. Sometimes we may have a shopping list for you to pick some things up from the shops for us. This can be done in the morning or potentially before you pick up the kids in the afternoon, we are happy for you to manage your time, and do what works for you.

We will need you in the afternoon from 245-730/8. You would pick the kids up from school, provide them with afternoon tea, supervise homework, help pack lunches for the next day and transport them to any after school activities. We would like you to help the kids keep the house tidy and clean up any messes (We have a cleaner and do not expect you to do that role). Then you would serve them dinner and get them ready for bed if we aren't home yet.

Often the afternoons are busy, so our previous Nannies have either got dinner ready in the morning and stayed back an hour or so to do this, or they started an hour early in the afternoon to do dinner prep. Other times popping back in during the day has worked.

The start date for the job is February. You would do some buddying with our current nanny to learn the ropes, and then fly solo. These dates are flexible, because our old nanny is around and available to work until we find someone, but we need to have someone ready because she leaves town in April.

I am looking to fill the role of a suitable Nanny/Manny in Merewether Heights/Newcastle to care for one 9-year-old boy in and around my home. Boy is quiet, reserved, extremely shy and at healthy developmental milestones - he enjoys board games, reading, crafts, and does a swimming, jujitsu and baseball during the week.

Hours: part-time, predominantly 300-730p flexible days during the week - min 2 days.

Role: Some school pick up; responsible for the childcare, physical and emotional needs of this quiet boy; meal prep (dinners/lunch box), keeping the child's environment hygienic and organized, homework tasks and taking him to pre-scheduled sport activities. You will work independently but on rare occasion alongside me - some local driving required for sports activities.

Rate: $30/hr Competitive rates on experience and professional licenses, other parent references, working with children checks and registrations. Additional driving, parking rates as required. Additional overnight rate on rare occasion ~3x per year. Flexible vacation days if you need to take days to recharge yourself.

About me the parent: I am a widowed, full time working mamma and looking for the nurturing person to be an extension of me for my young boy. At times I work from home however travel to Muswellbrook 2x a week and on those days get home around 7:30-8pm. My work schedule is predictable and routine, and so is the school and sports schedule.

Our home: Smoke free, drug free, private. Single story home w a yard. We have one medium sized 3-year-old sheepdog mixed dog who is very happy to be around people.
