*Babysitter / Mother’s Helper – Part Time*

We are a busy and welcoming family looking for a reliable and caring babysitter to help support our household and engage with our children during the day.

**About Our Family**
We have five children aged 1, 3, 8, 11, and 13. Three of our children are homeschooled (ages 8, 11, and 13). We are looking for someone who enjoys working with children of different ages and can bring energy, creativity, and patience to the role!

**Role Overview**
The primary focus of this role is caring for our two youngest boys (ages 1 and 3) while also assisting our 8-year-old daughter with homeschool work for a short period each session.

**Key Responsibilities**
* Provide attentive care for our 1-year-old and 3-year-old
* Plan and engage the children in stimulating, age-appropriate activities such as:
* Crafts and creative play
* Outdoor play
* Blocks and imaginative play
* Educational and sensory activities
* Assist our 8-year-old with homeschool learning for approximately **1 hour per session**, primarily:
* Basic Math
*English / reading / writing support
*Prepare simple snacks and lunch for the children when needed
* Help maintain a positive, structured, and nurturing environment for the children

**Ideal Candidate**
* Warm, patient, and genuinely enjoys spending time with children
* Creative and proactive in planning activities that support learning and development
* Comfortable assisting with basic primary-school level learning
*Background in teaching, education, or childcare is highly desirable
*Christian and able to provide a pastoral reference*
* Reliable and trustworthy

**Preferred Experience**
* Experience working with young children and/or large families
* Teaching, tutoring, or homeschooling support experience
* First aid or childcare qualifications (a plus)

**Hours**
Monday 9am - 1pm
Wednesday 9am - 1pm
Thursday or Friday 9am - 1pm (some weeks may alternate with Thursday and Friday)

**Rate**
*$28 - $40 Dependant on experience

Casual babysitting for my 2 toddlers. Usually involving routine and bedtime.

We are a working couple looking for a casual carer for our 8-year-old son. We want someone to pick him from school at 5 pm on Fridays and keep him home for 2 to 3 hours.
We might occasionaly need care on other days but for now mainly on Fridays.
