We are looking for a part-time Nanny for our family to assist us with before and after school care (including drop off and pick up), and to help support us with our busy lifestyle with additional cooking, household chores and errands. Ideally we need someone Monday to Friday however there is flexibility with days and hours, with extra days over the school holidays when we are not on leave ourselves.
Hours are negotiable depending on the amount of household work, however could look like: Before School: ~7/7.30am to 9/9.30am & After School: ~2.45pm to ~5.30/6pm with hours in between as needed.
The boys are 5 & 8yrs, are energetic, intelligent, kindhearted who enjoy an active lifestyle as well as the quiet downtime afterschool. It’s important for us to have someone that can connect with the boys firstly and us second and be someone they can have fun with but also can be firm with them and support us with our approach to a healthy lifestyle for them.
The successful candidate would be someone who has previous nanny experience with young boys; who is an excellent communicator, has a good understanding of early childhood learning and development, is organised and mature in their approach but empathetic and very patient, someone who is energetic, likes to have fun and be silly, has a healthy approach to life.
