We are looking for a reliable and warm nanny to care for our 11-month-old daughter, Sadie while we are in the office on Tuesday and Thursdays from 7:45am - 6pm.
Sadie is a smiley little girl who loves independent play, exploring the park, and watching trains. She is at a fun, curious age and is currently very busy exploring everything with her hands (and mouth!). We have a relaxed and welcoming household, so we're looking for someone to maintain that energy and engage with Sadie on these days.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engaging Play: Focusing on age-appropriate activities and sensory play.
- Outings: Local walks to the park or nearby library.
- Meals: Preparing and serving simple, pre-made meals for Sadie.
-Naps: Managing her daytime sleep schedule.
- Child-Related Tidying: Light cleaning restricted to Sadie’s needs (e.g., loading her dishes into the dishwasher and packing away toys used during the day).
What We’re Looking For:
- Significant experience with infants and toddlers.
- A "proactive" mindset—someone who enjoys engaging with a child rather than just supervising.
- Current Working with Children Check (WWCC).
- First Aid and CPR certifications.
Location:
We are located just off Sydney Road in Brunswick, with excellent access to the Upfield train line and the No. 19 tram. As we are in a central spot, a driver’s license is not required. If you do drive, please let us know so we can discuss local parking options.
If this sounds like a good fit for you, please send us a message with a bit about your experience with children Sadie’s age and your favorite toddler-friendly activity in the inner north. We look forward to hearing from you!
