Hello, my name is Zuzana and I have over 25 years of child care experience gained in private homes, nursery schools, government schools, Childcare centres, Before and After School Clubs, playgroups and children’s home. I have worked with several families, with children aged from 12 weeks up to 14 years old. I worked as a nanny in London for 7 years for the same family. This helped me to gain experience with children from newborns up to 14 years old. I gained NVQ Level 2 and 3 in Year Years and childcare in London. I then moved to the West Midlands where I worked for local government schools including a Special Needs School. While I was working at the Special Needs school I also studied with The Open University where I gained Level 4 Certificate in Early Years Practice. (Diploma in Children's Services) In 2008 my husband and I moved to Australia where I worked as part-time Teaching Assistant and Team Leader (Mon – Wed) for Before and After School care in a Catholic School where I have worked for the last 4 years. I also work as live out part-time nanny. For the last 10 years I have worked as nanny/tutor in Hong Kong. I enjoy cycling, swimming, skiing, camping, yoga, craft, reading, gardening and travelling. In my spare time I love making handmade cards as well as inventing new recipes. Regards Zuzana Harris

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Ciao! I’m Sara, a 27-year-old from Italy, and I’ve been calling Melbourne home for about three years now. I’m truly loving the life I’m building here and I’m looking for a wonderful family to support as a babysitter. Back in Italy, I was a dance teacher, so I naturally bring a lot of energy, creativity, and movement into my work with children. Whether we’re learning a new "dance routine" in the living room or playing games, I love creating a joyful and sunny environment where kids can be themselves. At the same time, I’m an extremely cautious and attentive person, safety is always my absolute priority. One of my biggest passions is cooking. I love preparing delicious, nutritious, and authentic meals that kids actually enjoy eating. I’m also more than happy to help out with light housework and keeping things tidy, so you can come back to a calm and organized home. My goal is to make sure every moment spent with your little ones is safe, educational, and, above all, happy. I can’t wait to meet you and your family!

Looking for: Casual Babysitting

Hi! My name is Niamh — I’m 25 and originally from Ireland, currently living in Melbourne on a 417 Working Holiday Visa. I am just recently back to Melbourne after completing my 88 Days for my 2nd year visa! As the oldest of three, I’ve always had a natural role caring for children, and over the years I’ve gained extensive experience looking after little ones from newborns up to 15 years old — including twins and larger families of four or five kids. I’m a warm, caring, and active person who loves keeping kids engaged — whether that’s heading out for walks, spending time at the park, or finding fun ways to stay busy at home. I’m also great at maintaining routines, from school drop-offs and pick-ups to meal prep, nap schedules, tummy time, and daily activities. I have previous experience keeping detailed records of feeding times, naps, and medication administration to ensure everything runs smoothly. I hold a valid Working With Children Check and can provide references from families I’ve babysat for. I also have a driver’s license and am more than happy to help with light housework — and even walk the family dog! I also have no problem getting a police check if needed to make you feel more comfortable! Regarding casual babysitting, I am available most evenings and happy to stay overnight with prior notice given, as I do currently have current commitments with other families and other jobs! I am more than happy to have a call, coffee or chat prior to beginning work to make sure you think I am the right fit for your family! Have a lovely day! *rate is $45 as of my experience with kids and rate with previous family - however willing to negotiate with the right family!

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi there, I have been babysitting since I was 15 and am now 24. I have always loved working with children and have experience caring for a wide range of ages. In the past, I worked for a family of four where I managed after school pickups, took the children to activities, prepared school lunches, and helped out around the house. This also led to work during the school holidays, where I organised special activities and incorporated exercise into their daily routines. I have also volunteered at my local football club for six years, coaching girls aged 3 to 14. Through this, I have developed a strong appreciation for working with children and a broad understanding of how to manage and care for them in both structured and active environments. I am a graduate of a Bachelor of Design from RMIT University and have also worked in hospitality for four years. I am now looking for something flexible, fun, and rewarding. I am open, honest, reliable, and confident in my communication skills, and I always aim to get the job done to a high standard. I hold a current P2 driver licence and own my own car, so I am able to assist with pickups, drop offs, and day trips as needed. Thank you for your consideration. I look forward to hearing from you.

Looking for: Casual Babysitting

Hi, I'm Lucie and I'm 25 years old from the UK but I have been living in Australia for the past 2 years. I am currently based in St Kilda and I'm looking for casual babysitting work. Throughout my time in Australia I have been working as an Au Pair / nanny with 2 different families. Last year I spent 7 months caring for 2 young boys in Queensland and I have just completed 10 months caring and nannying for a 6 year old boy here in Melbourne. These duties included before and after school care ( prep breakfast and lunch boxes, taking and picking up from school, homework, playing, dinner prep and bed time routines). I have also been doing weekend work for other families in between from ages as young as 10 months to 11 year olds. I enjoy activities with the children such as arts, crafts, sports, walking to parks, and games. I believe my confidence with children has exceptionally grown with having 2 years of experience in childcare as well as verbal communication, patience, and creativity. Most importantly the safety and well-being of your child is the crucial factor when working in this sector and I would love to help your families in caring for your children.

Hello I'm Amelia, I'm 23 and currently completing my psychology degree with the intention to complete post-graduate studies in developmental and child psychology. I love working with kids and have been a baby sitter for over 5 years working with children of all ages. Most recently, I lived with a family in the Cook Islands for three months helping to take care of their 4 beautiful boys (ages ranged from 6 months old to 5 years old). I have worked extensively with older children as well, having done ongoing regular and casual babysitting for families over the last few years with children between 5 and 14. These roles involved school drop offs, pick ups, making breakfasts, lunches and dinners, driving the family cars when needed, the bedtime routine and cleaning the house while the children were asleep. I also have lots of previous experience volunteering and running school holiday programs for children from 6-12, so am comfortable working with larger groups of children in school/activity contexts if this is ever needed. I am a very creative and energetic person, I love music, art, performance, boardgames as well as anything active and outdoors. I place a lot of importance on presence and inclusion. When I am spending time with young people it is always my priority to ensure they are safe, engaged, having a fabulous time and have my undivided attention.
