Dear parent,
My love for kids and previous experience of working as a teacher to primary school students as well as of a nanny in the past 2 years has now prompted me to apply for this position again. I am extremely passionate about contributing to a child’s growth and knowledge, and I am confident that I am equipped with the necessary skill set.
I have worked with kids since I was 16 while still at highschool when I was asked to teach a language at Saturday school to a group of 20+ primary school students. It was that first job that fueled my passion of playing an integral prt in a child’s growth, both academically and personally.
As a physiotherapy student working at sports clubs, I am also exposed to more children as I usually work with the junior footy, cricket and rugby clubs. That requires me to have a valid WWCC as well as constantly renewing my first aid and CPR certifications every year. I work well with children and their parents. As a sports medic and trainer, I am always administering first aid to little kids when they injure themselves during play and hence, I will be able to bring that skill into work as your nanny. Safety is always my utmost concern, and I will always carefully monitor their physical and mental wellbeing.
I currently also hold a full driver’s license with a clean record and have my own car. In my previous nanny role, I did pick ups and drop offs for the kids to and from the school, and organised other co-curricular activities to the library, parks, zoos and museums. I love teaching and doing that job part-time for the past 7 years has taught me a lot of different activities that I can organize for kids with a fun and educational component to it. I am also a good cook, and I will be able to organize fun activities like making sushi together or churros, brownies etc on top of reading and learning activities. I am confident at housekeeping as well, I can do the laundry independently, wash the dishes, vacumming/sweeping floors and pretty much being a house manager to keep your home organised, homely and neat. I believe I have the qualities that you’re looking for such as warm, understanding, and having an approachable nature for children to be comfortable with.
I hope you will consider me for this position and give me the blessing of being a part of your child’s growth. Please do not hesitate to give me a call if you’d like to discuss further or if you have any other questions for me.
I look forward to hearing from you soon 😊
