Good morning my name is Carmel and I am very interested in caring for your 8 year old daughter. I have 6 grandchildren and love being involved with their lives. I have worked in the Education Department (in schools) for over 21 years as an Education Support Officer and also in the office. I worked as a Support Officer in East Gippsland for 3 years before gaining employment as a Pharmacy Assistant in Metung for 3 and a half years before moving to Yarragon in 2024. I gained in employment as a Pharmacy Assistant in Drouin not long after moving here. I am finding that retirement is a bit quiet and I am wanting to do more with my time and would love to spend time with children and enjoy being a part of their learning, development and having quality time together. I had a Police Check done in 2024 as I did some voluntary work in Aged Care when we first moved to Yarragon.

I'm an experienced babysitter with a solid background in childcare. At 25, I bring a wealth of hands-on experience to caring for children of various ages. I'm also certified in First Aid and have a Working with Children Check, ensuring I can provide a safe and nurturing environment. I'm a 18 year old, who recently graduated highschool and is looking for a job while on break. As well as looking for experience with children as a future teacher.
